Hi! great video, any advice on a corckscrew Hazel tree that needs to be moved. It's about 5ft tall and must be moved as its roots have taken over the whole flowerbed

Thanks, I actually made a video a few years ago where I did just that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZuZp397iZxslbM your best waiting until winter if you can as it will have a much better chance of surviving the transplant. Cut back some of the top growth so the smaller root system will have less to support. When you dig it out dig out as much of the root system as your able to, although some will have to be cut as there will be a weight limit to what you can move for larger plants. Once replanted make sure it's well watered for the first year.

The yellow flowers are yellow variety of Argyranthemum frutescens and the orange flowers are pansies.

@@Gardeningat58N Thanks. I like the Argyranthemum frutescens. I might get that for my summer bedding. Marigolds are my favorite but they take so long to deadhead and I don't have time.

I don’t plant annuals any more. Too expensive. I use perennials, wild flower mix. they come back year after year and lots of color. I love ornamental grasses mixed with dahlias and roses. I grow a lot of my perennial’s in my green house. Then put them out when they’re ready. You save a lot of money by growing them from seed and tubers.

I also like to use tubers as that way I don't have to buy new plants each year. I grow dahlias, begonias, gloxinias and gladioli. Ornamental grasses is a good idea.
