I am so glad you found it helpful! Touch and hold the layer you want to remove from the group and then drag it above the group layer to outside the group and then drop it there.

I can’t figure out why when I add a layer it gives me an opaque background and I can’t see what I drew on the previous layer. Any insight?

Are you adding a new layer by pressing the plus sign in the layer panel or are you adding an image or something as a new layer?
