I run a full healer loadout with the bow and wand, but this is interesting as a hybrid. I think newer content is going to need “more than sufficient” healing though, so I’ll stick with it.

Hey, great video. Just wanna drop a note about desired stats and how they work in TnL. Crit as a healer, isn't as useful since crit actually is just affecting the chance your dmg/heal is gonna be closer to/the max dmg in your damage range in character sheet. Heavy attack chance is actually the more traditional "crit" stat players are use to in games, heavy attacks double the damage/heal if it procs. So say you throw youre fireball, if the fireball hitting procs heavy, the damage is done twice. I'm playing a very similar build myself and have recent broken 3.1k power completely f2p. I would also say, if you find a slot on your bar for it the inner peace skill feels pretty broken for mana purposes, i have minimal wisdom stacked and no real focus on mana regen, and never go below half mana if i can cast rotation properly with inner focus weaved in. I would also change time for punishment to enchanting time so rather than one enemy being debuff Ed you buff your own skill damage so attacks like focused fireball and the lightning ones will hit all enemies for higher damage rather than just one being affected. Also be aware that vamparic passive doesn't work with your allies getting heals from damage in cursed enemies

It seems that the healing from active skills only works when I have Touch of Despair or Time for Punishment up. Is this how it's supposed to work? I'm looking at the skill descriptions, and I can't see why this should be the case, especially if I have Selfless Soul as a passive. That seems to suggest that ANY active skill should generate healing. Also, if ToD and TfP are needed to generate the healing, would you benefit from Karmic Haze by spreading the curse to nearby enemies and then using AoE skills to generate healing from multiple mobs at once? Just curious; the way all of these fit together is not clear to me from description alone, and experimentation gives conflicting results...

So with T4P and ToD up, you'll get passive healing from them skills alone, as well as healing form any other dots or damage you do to the target.

This more of dps support or something. Did you run this build with 2 k plus dps and think its ok. Run that back when wasn't random revard and most people used be 1600. Not to mention people not blocking fury attacks so gl... And you really matter on end bosses really how much curses you will put on boss to help heal.

I estimated that my DPS is in the 8K range, but as there is no real DPS counter in game it's hard to get an accurate reading of that, but my calculations show around the 8K mark.

Maybe.. though I doubt that... in T2 content it may make some more sense... For now this build is not a very good mix of everything, a bit aoe, pvp, heal... I have 3 presets ready - 1 for AoE mobbing, 1 full solo DPS (boss/gate of infinity etc.) and healing one (I'm over 3.2k CP now so i havn't used it in a while). There's no 4th+ slots to make a build for small and large scale pvp yet but we'll get there. All of my 3 builds includes some skills that other build doesn't, as well as different skill specs. I'm 100% F2P player btw:)

I have %50 mana efficiency, %61 cooldown reduction, %72 skill heal, %6 attack speed, +%40 buff duration, +1000 magic endurance and +1000 melee endurance, 10k HP, around 1600 melee / magic / ranged defense, 12k mana - A true healer; but this game is all about DPS!!! being a healer is worthless and no meaning in this game. Even at 2vs1 - healers will lose as majority of players full DPS builds or tank builds with lots CC to lock you non-stop as thy have +1300 or +1500 evasion - your attacks will miss non-stop. Healers cannot get any rewards at this game for doin pvp and pve. Thy use healers in dungeon to gear up and throw away. For pvp, it is mass zerg pvp - worse than Archeage, no way to survive or heal anyone unless you are at the winning side. Target healing, healing skills not so good for a mass zerg pvp or pve + cooldowns are long even with full cd reduction build, bad healing amounts (with Crit I only have seen one time 4.2k and 5k but it is so rare). Even all of these stats and good gear 3600 gear score, one same gear score dagger + greatsword or crossbow or staff user would defeat me via CC combo within 2 seconds in this period of CC... There is ZERO LOGIC in this game's gameplay for pvp and pve. If you are not tank or dps, you will never have fun and if you are not in the mega zerg winning guild side with 7-8 sub guilds that dominate the whole server that loots and get everything in the game, you will never get the gear you want even if you play regularly!!! So what is the point of being a healer in this game named T&L? Developers tried to do sth different but made the worst healing gameplay in a mmorpg!!! I really miss Aion, Archeage, even Tera Online... No wonder %50 of the initial population already quit the game. The game is very P2W and RNG, limited in every aspect for both pvp and pve, it is grind gameplay with low rewards, so thy ask you to buy Lucent to gear up; but guess what? dominating guilds rules the AH and selling Tier-2 Archboss items for 30k, 60k Lucent, 250k Lucent for a single piece and traits are same - very expensive and so on, that you even cannot afford normal way of making Lucent... P2W whales you need to be... End game content is very boring, story gameplay somehow was good but not as good as Blade and Soul, Aion and Lineage 2!!! Play 2 days and you are lvl 50 already. Castle sieges are coming, current tax is %22 and it will be raised to %50 when the mega zerg dominating guild gets it fully!!! Thy nerf healers so hard next patch; but giving mega buff to DPS !!! why we play as a healer? Developers need to remove the so called fake healing, healer class role in this game for both pvp and pve titles !!!

My main focus in the video more than anything is PvE so the PvP aspect I haven't covered at all because I haven't experienced it. I don't quite understand the P2W argument, as of yet as I've not come across that problem, maybe because I'm not as far into the game as others so it's not something I've seen. I think putting as the worst healing gameplay in an MMO is super critical and maybe a little harsh but equally, you're fully entitled to say that :) Thanks for your feedback and I hope the game quenches the needs that you want out of it eventually. For me, I'm loving it!

100% agree...playing mmos since 2003 and its one of the worst healer in all mmorpgs. when i compare this healing with everquest 2, lineage 2, archeage, tera or rift, its rly bad in the whole design. i start playing wand/bow and then i realise, noone needs a full healer for pve or small pvp. so i change to staff/wand, because now i can make at least damage, bc u just need damage in this game. u can mostly avoid all dmg in pve, so a full healer ist just completly useless.

@@Hendo88 I like the wand and bow even it is not so great for mass pvp and pve healing, survivability comparing to other mmorpg. However, next patch global, thy nerf healers so much, shield nerf - healing skill nerfs etc while thy buff DPS. For p2w, it is exist in EA EU servers and it makes huge difference in pvp - mass zerg really - now soon castle siege is coming too, AH is very expensive for build set pieces you want to get - it is just too much Lucent (normal ways to get them very slow and already the drop rate chance is very RNG from content). You need a 2nd character good gear too then start sell everything but then you need to spend double time to play the game and majority of players don't have than much time.

With 6 k HP you are one shot heal, in pvp you will be alive 2 sec. Dead heal = 0 heals

Wand bow has more healing right now, but will lose much of this advantage if korean changes that put the bow hot and swift heal on same cooldown come to global. I like both and find staff total mana and health bonus, mana regen, cooldown benefits, increased damage and thus more vampirism healing are pretty equal to additional healing skills and additional mob resistance decrease from bow.
