The only thing you missed was complaining about Wilson not being able to craft as fast as Winona when he needs to craft 40 times to obtain a single green gem! Also, set a moon rock farm using reanimated skeleton for unlimited moon rocks and possibility of making moon idols. You can farm any character starting items that way. If you can build a complex varg farm, then you can kill fw.

You can with the help of an npc enclosed in 3 layers of walls so the vargs & hounds can't hit it, I believe someone in the comments did this successfully and described how in their comment 😊

I was able to make this on switch, I haven’t caged all the vargs yet but I was able to make the farm it self, for the parts where you need mods to place things, I just looked at the video and tried to make it look similar to it, don’t know if this helps but I tried to use a marble armor to place structures so you don’t move as much, even the chairs work as intended.

Idk if this is just a me problem but the catapults stop shooting a lot due to the hounds not being agressive towards them or you (because of all the “citizens” remains on the floor) is this fine or should I be doing something differently

Iirc he said you should try “tagging” the hounds by hitting them! This should regain their aggro and cause the catapults to attack what you’re attacking

Maybe you could add some scaled flooring so fire wouldn't spread to the catapults? Doesn't seem needed but if you have infinite green gems for scale duplication it could be some nice insurance just in case

Scaled flooring makes fire spreading slower, it doesn't reduce fire damage unfortunately

perhaps I didn't explain well in the video, the damage catapults sustain is from being close to the fire that it spewed out by the firehounds, not by the fires spreading; so scaled flooring wouldn't do anything it doesn't prevent the fire hound fires in the first place :(@@placeholderdoe

Hounds don’t attack for agroing the parent varg. It’s when they actually try to bite. Which incidentally they do for all other hounds too. Get aggro from one hound and when it bites you, the others follow. Edit: varg biting you doesn’t aggro, see comments for all ways to aggro them.

Varg Hounds bark and agro if you get too close to their parent varg, check footage in the video :) I don't think I ever said in the video attacking a varg would agro the hounds

@@Jakeyosaurus you did at 27:47. I was wrong though, just checked and not even the varg biting you will aggro. So nothing a varg does will aggro hounds. Attacking the varg will REALLY aggro the hounds though. Attacking just a hound will get their aggro for about 1s but they get distracted by meat after that. Attacking the varg will put them on an aggressive mode where they ignore meat until completely unaggroed. Interestingly a hound LANDING a bite also does a similar thing so you can get big problems if one hits back, but hitting them and dodging can work well. Also, your distance to the varg doesn’t matter. What really matters is how close the hound is to its varg. When within ~9 walls of its varg, hound are aggressive and will attack things within another 9 walls. This can lead to hounds attacking much further than you think. So the only things that aggro are attacking the varg, attacking hounds, being bitten by a hound, or being within 9 walls of a hound near its varg.

I'm not sure, ps5 is pretty strong so I'd assume 16, you just might need to unload the to stack the hounds teeth sooner

You can but fitting the telelocator inside the walls is finicky, and you gotta deconstruct it afterwards, it's a lot of mess given that you can do it cleanly without

Thought about this a little more and if varglets act like wild hounds then they'll bite walls to try to get to you, so you'd need to use all statues to trap em 😊

Without the lunar rifts active, you're not guaranteed to get a varg every hunt, so it'd take you significantly longer to get all the vargs for the farm 😁

To make a varg howl it needs to be agro'd on something and it needs to not already be at its max hound follower count, so agro them and make sure some of its followers didn't get unloaded while you were taking the varg back to the farm 😊
