For those who asks about details: - we have fullscope and quickscope. You can see quickscope on the trailer and fullscope on Steam screenshots - game is a full open-world - multiplayer up to 16 players - we use some animals models done by 3rd party people (ex. bought from GiM Studio) but we also do our very own. In future we would like to replace all animals with our models. Cheers!

I dont know if you have updated the greater kudu model/horns since your last sneak peak - but please ensure they have deeper curls in their horns and more variation in their curls than previously shown to resemble their real life couterparts more closely. The trailer look fantastic - well done.

People seem to forget that one part in the trailer where they basically say "dont hunt some of these animals in real life as they might be endangered or illegal" so sure maybe it wasn't as upfront as that but I imagine the trailer felt like getting straight to the point yall this isn't poaching this is JUST A GAME. Also if you guys see this comment take your time with the game I dont mind waiting a bit longer for a more polished game rather than a rushed crappy looking one

I am thrilled to be able to hunt an elephant in the game, but i felt the scene in the trailer needed to be more animated, especially with the brush giving way as he charged. Look up charges in real life

The fact that they have NPC's at all is a great thing. I'm tired of CotW's somewhat interesting, but storylines with no one in it but us. It makes it feel souless. I mean, going into a 'vilage' with no one around is really boring. Hopefully there are NPC's in each little 'village' or whatever.

I liked what I saw, the animal's animation after taking the shot was lacking, but ok! I would like to see more of the terrain on the maps, I really liked the 3D modeling of the animals, the puppies next to the groups of animals, in theory this game brings everything we don't have in hunting games today, weapon suppressors, the possibility of carrying a dead animal in a car, animals like elephant, giraffe and hippo, it has everything to be a great game.

I hope the recoil on that 416 Rigby isn't as tame as it looked in the trailer and hopefully the sound of the gunfire is realistic too. The trailer looked great overall. I like that you can put the animals in the bed of your truck. that's a cool feature instead of just having the animal magically disappear.

I'm sure you've had your comments giving tips on how important audio will be, like the proper sound firing each caliber giving the right feel. There is another angle I think that is often neglected, but HUGE for the immersion of so many of us IRL hunters playing the game. The bullet impact sound and timing! I hope developers get adequate time/budget getting the right sounds of impact and the timing of that sound reaching the player after that shot. For those IRL hunters who know the sound and feel of the initial trigger pull and bang, then moments later that WHOMP sound of a telltale hit on 'target'... whoooo! makes me excited for hunting season just typing it out. When a game gets this right it is an absolutely heavenly immersive shooting and hunting experience and when it is overlooked it leaves the game feeling kind of 'meh' and forgettable. I am really cheering for this game to succeed and offer yet another of the oh so many of the things other hunting games have overlooked/neglected. I hope this comment reaches developers because I wholeheartedly believe this could be one of those 'it factors' separating this game from the others.

I will be picking this up on day one. Love the animal selection. My only concern is the environment and lighting, it looks like false lighting in some of the scenes, like a bad indoor sound stage, especially on the darker scenes in the trailer. Hopefully in the near future you can show some more expansive images of the environment

That's a great question and up until now I assumed it was actively in the game but realize just like in WotH the "Hollywood Buck" had us all assuming great looking non-typicals and genetics of that being passed on (Hollywood and his father sharing that tine distortion). So your question Is actually a very worthy one. Could be a scene from a video of the story line or a one time occurrence... really hope the trailer is being quite 'honest' in what to expect!

It seems to be an arcade and easy game. Despite the details of the animals, maps, animations and mechanics, it seems to be a game where it is too easy to get close to the animals, not to mention that apparently most of the animals attack you and are slow to run, so it is easy to kill the animal.

But it's not. You can read more about realistic features that other games didn't have. Maybe it looks arcade but it's not. The most important thing is to keep a good realism to game enjoyment ratio :)

@@HuntressGamer It has since been confirmed!! :) Very curious if they will be transport only or if firing from the horse will be possible. We used to have a horse that you could fire while saddled on his back and he wouldn't even flinch! (didn't shoot big bore hunting calibers from him because the sound would likely be damaging to its poor ears) but plinking with the .22 was great!

Well atm I am grinding Tigers at COTW but been playing all sort of games like Kingdom Come Deliverance (The sequel releases later this year and is my most anticipated game since RDR2.) Rise of the Ronin,a bit of everything . Didn't like Mataraiki on Way of the Hunter so stopped playing. Ultimate hunting definetely got me excited, looking really promising, and yeah,release date can never arrive soon enough haha. What about you?

Hello, I have 3000 hours of virtual hunting experience. Will hunting knives be used? If not, then save yourself the release. Because hunting simulations without hunting knives, I already have 4 of them.

Can you give an example of when hunting knives are used in a game well and how implementing it in some way would be attractive to all and not an extreme minority? Sincerely curious. Unless you mean "spear" hunting which Id be very much in support of whether or not its ever been tried/successful.

@@bigjim9719 I love that RDR2 offers an angle of hunting game-play but really doesn't feel like a 'hunting game' to me just a game that expands a little on the hunting aspect of open world shooters (much like Skyrim and Farcry had 'hunting' which really expanded to skinning animations etc.). I'm not opposed to new features that those who don't care much about can just choose not to do. I just think 'knife hunting' would appeal to such an extremely low portion of players I doubt it would be worth the development time and budget commitment. I believe this game is going for a believable hunting experience and the only 'knife hunting' IRL I know of relies on dogs to 'tie-up' a hog so the hunter can go in and dispatch it with a knife. Not bashing that hunt, just stating that's the only believable context where it would happen.

Ultimate hunting seems great game but no hunting game implements most critical part of the hunter. You need to be always check your gun barrels and it's parts, gun jamming is possible if not paying attention to your tool. Gun is a most important part of the hunter.

I suspect those are implied elements. Just like IRL I will clean my firearms and re-check zero etc. Having the character breakdown the gun would be an interesting dynamic to a vert select minority of gamers. Just because something is IRL it doesn't necessarily mean it works in a game. This game allows weapon customization which may be as close as you are gonna get. Perhaps imagine the character cleaning the gun each time just before the customization screen pops up :p

@@perrys5954 So it's weapon durability system just like "metro: exodus" or "RDR2". I think it should be in a different game mode like "REALISM", since most of the gamers doesn't like to struggle with cleaning their guns and the barrels just pick up a gun and shoot some deers.

So much effort, open-world, and very nice graphics... To kill elephants? Why not kill in a Action/Adventure game with wild animals the poachers instead in Africa, and defend, rescue the elephants? Let's fight against poachers, and corrupt police for example, let's free wild animals trapped by poachers in Africa... DLC could be let's free slaves from diamond mines in Africa, and for example innocent bystanders, farmers who got between the fires of 2 enemies in guerilla fights, local kings who don't care about the people, just want to control the lands, and mines... & so on. Oh, well. Maybe the next Far Cry game could be? Too bad, Ubisoft games as well going down year by year from better to worst.

Poaching is the ILLEGAL take of any wild animal resource. There is no other definition. If it is legal, it cannot be poaching. You can legally hunt endangered animals, all of the animals shown are legally huntable irl.
