Well, as you said, everyone has different opinions. I ran builds with arc thrower, airburst launcher, tesla turret, flame thrower turret, and rocket turret since they came out. I have no problem if you do not like these builds, but I can tell you: these builds are _so_ much stronger than all listed anti-tank builds (for the simple reason that there are little to no tanks - it suffices if some teammate brings an AMR or MG agains the tripods). The arc thrower rules everything the illuminates can muster right now, and the airburst is so satisfying to use - one rocket and 30 kills is not a rare occasion.

I am in literal love with the airburst launcher. It's so fun to use! I don't like using the zappy tho. It's a bit too unexplosive for me.

I also do not bring mechs due to the limitations, but that's also why I do not bring orbital lasers. I get that laser might rank higher due to it working on its own while you need to directly control the mech but both are capable of destroying spawners and a mech could also be used to clear more than one camp if you manage to take it to a second camp with ammo remaining. ranking laser one tier above mechs would make sense but not two. also, I personally think the tesla is too low. It does a fantastic job and is equally as effective as at least the flamethrower one. Only downside is friendlies taking it down either deliberately or by accident. I hardly ever see enemies managing to kill it. And even if they do, it will tank for quite a while.

To me the difference is as you said the Lazer works on its own and can clear and entire heavy camp and call in on its own, where as the mech maybe can do that, or get stuck or accidentally friendly fired or exploded early. It's a guarantee vs a gamble

@@saintwaffles that's true but the gamble could even result in a better outcome than with the laser, even if less likely. A laser will clear an outpost 90+% of the time (it might not target the last ship and run off to chase some other enemies instead) but it will always only finish ONE outpost at best A mech could potentially clear two or more, albeit it is more likely that it won't and might not even clear one. Still, the potential is there. it's your tier list and you can rank stuff however you want, but I just find it odd to give one B and the other S when both fill the same role, only with slight variations to success rate. In my mind, this would warrant a difference of one tier, not two. But fair enough.
