Ever heard of dodging at different times? All of scythes moves have frames you can dodge and their combos are based more on reacting to your opponents plays. so just mixing it up and reading them better than they read you is the best way to beat them. I personally find them to be the fairest weapon in the game. If you can’t read and adapt to your opponent in a fighting game you probably should lose.

I can assure you it's synced, it may not always sync with every time i say an action 100% since all the footage is recorded after the audio. But every clip is quite on topic.
