How do you get the platforms to stay in place? On a carpet I mean

Usually I have a build or just a couple bricks attached to the plates so they don’t separate from each other. I don’t do anything to keep them from moving on the carpet, I guess they’re just pretty good at staying in one place.

He uses clay or sticky tac to hold it onto the blaster and then on the next frame he holds it in the direction it was shot but his hand is just out of the shot.

There are a whole bunch of them that I like, but if you’re planning on just getting a couple, I think the Order 66 commanders that LEGO hasn’t made yet (Phase 2 Cody, Bly, Bacara) would be the best to get.
