Yes, “Pure Vida” means good life. I was just in Costa Rica two weeks ago at the Los Suenos Marriott in the Playa Herradura area. We enjoyed our stay there, but I’m really feeling the dining options at this resort. Will definitely look into it the next time I visit Costa Rica. Thanks for sharing. 🥰

It was about a 3 hour ride. Our booking agent booked a van for us.

Hi Daniela, yes we did use an agency. It was super helpful because they planned all of our flights and the connecting shuttle services which made the experience very smooth

Ik this an old video but I’m trying to plan for this same hotel for next May. Does the hotel have a spot where they can help you plan activities like the horseback riding, water fall, ect? Or did you schedule it yourself

Pretty pricey. I’d say maybe about $120 a night per person. We splurged on the drink and food experience/variety options on the menu. Breakfast and lunch about $15-30 per person

We just stayed here and it was awful. We’ve been to Costa Rica many times but never the la fortunate area. Wasn’t great in comparison but this hotel was a joke. They leave out the fact that all walks are at at least a 45 degree incline (to the pools/restaurants/reception) and we’re in good shape but who wants to do that on vacation? You always have to call a golf cart, which gets annoying. The pools are tiny and half 0:02 of them are heated to 98 degrees for “spa learning sessions”, which means teaching employees how to get more money from guests, which, the pool temperature should be about what guests want, or maybe that’s just crazy! This was probably one of the worst “resorts” at which we’ve ever stayed. Steer clear, trust me. Oh and the food is very average but not priced averagely. There’s also a 23% tax on everything. There are much nicer places to stay for what this costs.
