I went with the straight grip for that reason man. Curve grip really sticks. It’ll wear its way in the sleeve eventually and get better. You can wrap the end cap in electrical tape and that really helps it glide out

Hey welcome back brother! That thing looks like a beast. I kind of wonder how their finish hammers compare to a standard wooden handle. I'd probably be in the market for that before a framing hammer myself, but only because I'm not doing a ton of framing work.

It is and ik I was torn between the framing and finish hammers, the M4 looks great but I still think a finish hammer should be wood. The Douglas hammers are pretty sick, that was going to be my other choice. Hope all is well brother!

I only hear good things about Martinez hammers apart from price lol. That said...did he keep or return that rear handle ridgid saw? It's on clearance for 175 right now in a kit with a 8 ah exp, rapid charger and bag. As a tool channel i gotta ask any issues you came across?

Alex my former partner still has it I believe. The saw dust port is a non starter for me. Constantly blowing saw dust in your face… I had the gen 1 Milwaukee rear handle saw it’s identical to the ridgid, right down to saw dust port… plenty of power tho !
