@@Skkra I feel like evo 2013 was better because everyone was at their highest in terms of skill. Chris G had not picked up Vergil here yet and Champ still wasn't as good as he became later on even though he won. Also because people had not yet realized how crazy zero was until 2013, so even though this top 8 had more character variety, in 2013 is when I believe we got to see the game being played at the highest level

Frutsy may have done well with MODOK at EVO but it was basic at best. MODOK has much more potential than what he did, but hell, he did good and got to top 8 EVO with this strategy anyways. Mad props for making it to top 8 EVO with the less used characters though.

It's not about being cheezy on the playstyle is about what works and MODOK showed you how to do it and the finals showed you there are a lot of players out there with different play styles and how to beat them There is no such thing as "hey come face me head on" they is just idiotic if you can win from a safe place why not win from there.
