One thing you are completely leaving out when ranking these is what else is available at that level. Some of these might go up or down a tier when you see what the other options are. Talents are divided into 3 tiers: level 5-10-15, level 20, 25, 30, 35 and level 40, 45, 50. So effectively have 3 separate pools of talents and you made a tier list as if there was only one pool.

The inconsistency between rating some perks F because someone can craft it for you but at the same time rating another perk A even though again, someone else can craft it for you can be off putting. Solar Drill perk is great but you CAN buy a solar drill from a vendor and you're set for the entire season. Regarding Deluxe storage crate, you cannot make MORE storage past the storage cap, i.e. a specific amount of crates per base allowed. I know because I literally capped out on storage boxes with max stacks in every box I have. A lot of the specializations are meant for playing with friends who spec into different builds. It does not help to have everyone take the same build of your "S tier" stats. I had a friend build his electric furnace with the buffs in my base. For those that do not know, someone else can build their crafting station with perks in your base and it retains its benefits. i have 2 electric furnaces with different boons. Agree on +1 max generators being top tier, and a lot of the F tier perks make sense, but deluxe storage crate is actually a lot better, and stardust mining is good if you have a friend already specced on an oilbase and you are doing a stardust farm for stardust source.

i have ton of perks what build to my base. i have almost everything what you can build. yesterday i just wonder is there anything for synthetic bench? there i have sulfur chemist but - 30% less craft material would be nice or something but don't know if you can have anything for synthetic bench...if someone know i would love to know 😅 acid is kinda expensive to make (make/sell ratio) bc i get same price for my gasoline and pump for free.

This is what I was thinking also. As a certified Loot Goblin I have to disagree with Backpack Expansion going in D tier. SOMEONE has to have it in order to sell it to other players. I cannot keep my vending machine stocked fast enough before they are all sold out. It's S tier if you want to be the supplier.

I'd argue bigger crate is bad. i haveny hot teh cap, i actually deleted two storage crates recently and I'm not hurting for space at all. But I guess if you like to stockpile resources then it's usefull. I'd some crafted items perks (like solar Drill) deserves to be higher if items crated are better. Yeah, you can buy Solar Drill, but you can also sell it, so it turns into another source of money.

for being an tier video based on the newest patch today you seemed to overlook the fix for the super refinery this patch which now makes it S tier imo as you can refine crude into portable fuel at half the time has 2 slots instead of 1 and when combined with the stardust from fuel perk any extra acid you farm only increases your stardust. also Electric Recycling does only metal scrap and electronics, Careful Disassembly does only parts fabrics and plastics..... 2 totally different specials not the same as mentioned in the comments previously storage limit is a thing so the 64 slots help with that. i appreciate your time and effort to put together this list keep up the good work. just please give the correct info on the things mentioned as newer players are easily misinformed

Super refinery is what the name says now... Can refine 2k crude oil at a time or crude oil and portable... and it's half the time to refine it... By far A tier!

Super Refinery is now good after the patch. It’s basically the regular refinery but there’s two processing slots in it. It cost 5w more than the regular refinery but the process time for crude to regular and regular to premium is cut in half (30mins). Some of your “tiers” are questionable. You should make a disclaimer to take your list with a grain of salt as most of your takes are not good.

People underestimate how much of a time saver it is having one big storage. I got the 64 crate as my first spec and from lv5 to 50 I only had one chest until I started hoarding mats, which I still only have 4 right now holding every other material and another 3 each filled with 64 stacks of biomissiles.

It seems like nobody saw it (in the comments) but you're missing a point. You cannot compare all specs together (like compare 1 to any other 1), specs are random I agree but they drop in specific place of the memetic, for exemple "Bed : A Place to Call Home" is droping only in the first 3 specs choices (level 5-10-15). And so, to do a better tier list you had to compare specs with other that are in the same "pack" otherwise it dosen't make sense. I've not fully watch the video for the moment but it seems that is possible for you to say that we should pick more specs than allowed in a "pack". Note : Memetics specialization worked like that before the (1 august) patch, I don't know if its still work the same

Or at the least make note of what slots those perks fit into so the one good perk at lower levels isn’t throws away for the sake of things that can’t be in that slot.

There are definitely specs that are "better" than others in those tier brackets, generally. But pairing specific buffs together can also make up for someone that gets unlucky with options. Don't forget when you check your specs before making a choice, they are locked into those 4 or 5 choices per level bracket (can't remember how many options each spec gives by default). But you can always come back to them later to lock in if you want to wait and see what else you roll in the next 5-10 levels or so. Easy example are the generators, they have different ones split across the tiers. But the majority give out +1 genny in your base, if you can stack any of the solar, hydro, bio in the first 30 levels then you're already locked in to 7-8 gens and people will pay you just to drop them in their base. Just take your time picking and don't insta lock anything unless it is a-s tier for your playstyle.

Disagree with the D class on the large storage crate perk. We are capped on items we can place @250. Having bigger storage would cut down massively on the number of boxes I have to place in my base. For me its B tier at least if not C.

Yeah, Large storages are godsent if you are absolutely loaded on mats. I have one warband mate who had to turn their truck into extra storage and get backpack slot just to carry all they got. Theyre huge tradesperson too, raking in millions every week from trade.

Photon power not only give you +10 to power of solar generators, but also +1 generator.

Thats one reason and another reason why I would rate photon power higher is that you aren't bound to a building place and you don't have to burn sth. They are just there and you get the power for free, everywhere.

7:33 crystal transformation is a GOAT it safe people a lot of times to get platinum crystal for repairing weapon, crafting backpack expansion etc. 12:45 stardust mining platform is good you can just go to blackfell have oil and stardust on one location in normal day with lv 3 digby I can get 1k/day/mining platform pair it with oil processing and art of stardust decay to make acid out of thin air i know it is good to use sulfur chemist but it optional remember out of thin air

You are missing what levels you can get specific specializations, and you should rank in your opinion not only what you think is S tier in a group but S tier solo. Deluxe Storage Crate is easily S tier if you're solo and S tier if at least one person in your hive has it. If 2 people have it yeah, its trash but it does complicate the list. I feel like you almost need 3 lists as well as an active Hive that would work together as if someone weren't selling something or only one person is selling something it can easily become a monopoly lol. Overall, this list is pretty solid and I'm very appreciative of this google doc, time and effort put in!

Giving backpack expansion F tier is a massive L take It's cheap to make, ALWAYS useful, +80 load and not everyone plays with others. His logic is dumb af, should be S tier. Also portable fridge is great, esp when farming or moving large amount of ingredients. Canned food doesn't magically appear. Another underrated tiered spec. Not everyone has their chat providing them with free backpack specs lmao bro.

Just tp home every time you get full on backpack, it's literally free and tp back again and farm. What are you doing with having permanently using 100 on load anyways. If you want to argue having Bio missiles or plasma, just bring them when going to PW's it's not that hard. I've played solo for 100 hours and never once needed backpack expansion because I always dissasemble / depo every run. Even multiple Silo runs doesn't even need backpack expansion pack.

As a complete new player who started like 2-3 weeks ago I have taken Biomass Missile less weight and + 2 yield, Solar Drill, Disassembly Bench: Careful Disassembly, Backpack expansion(was this or the ore,logs etc weigh less and I assumed the backpack would be more usefull) and at last the electronic grabber. Gear workbench, along with other building related perks, are great if you have more people who can cover other perks. In fact you can just ask people who have this specific perk to craft this specific building in your base and it will have the perk buffs as long as you don't destroy it. This also includes power generators and they can build it over your cap.

all the specs that "sell to vendor for energy links" are F-tier. its very easy to max vendor sales with food. my power generators are bugged and i have 10/8 in my base currently lol - the specs giving +2 generators until today. i was able to place 10 generators in my friends base as well so its like he doesnt even need the perks - it definitely helps to play with other people. also, the sulfur chemist is 8 hour conversion, not 4. very good spec but can easily be placed by someone else for you. in fact, almost all of these can be built by someone else making specs that offer personal buffs more S-tier than anything you could just pay for.

Meta spec is basically Sulphur Chemist and Biomass Missile +2 yield. Sulphur Chemist essentially gives you unlimited Acid for perma tungsten + AP ammo (make sure buy a 3 perk Furnace and 2 perk workbench). You need 5k EL to craft 99 acid but you run the world event Chiron once per hour for 22k EL. If you can't get Sulphur Chemist you can do an acid farm... but it'll be slow. Biomass Missile +2 yield allows you to craft the missiles extremely cheap to guarantee 1300+ points in ANY PRIME WAR Fill the remaining spec points with whatever you want... I would recommend anything that is a formula and/or anything that gives +1 yield, followed by facility boosts (remember you can buy boosted facilities off people). Early on I'd probably invest in a money maker spec like Gold Ingots or Crystal or Chipset Combo and sell to other players in the first 2 weeks of the season (after maxing out NPC EL limit) then switch it out to something else with a reset later on (make enough of the previously mentioned items to last through 6 weeks in terms of NPC EL limit)

​@@vhalaapoe1194 3 perk furnace = Power consumption -50%, Crafting time -60%, Resource consumption -30%, Smelting time -30% when smelting copper, bronze, steel, alumium and tungsten, Doubles yield when smelting Aluminium and Tungsten. 2 Perk workbench = Yield 30% more when crafting AP ammo and crafting time -50%, Crafting output 50% more when crafting regular ammo. There's a 3rd perk which is +1 for every activator crafted. Essentially with the double yield tungsten AND increased crafting AP and regular ammo output, you get more out of your acid per unit. Combine it with the Sulphur Chemist perk, you essentially can make yourself the cheapest ammo, and a ton of it. So, consider the following scenario: The advanced synthesis bench makes 198 acid per 8 hours for 10k EL (with sulphur chemist spec) 99 acid and 297 tungsten ingots produce 26730 Tungsten regular ammo at the 2 perked workbench Let's assume you run the event Chiron once a day (you can actually do it once per hour for full legend rank rewards), which gives you 22,000 EL and 60 Acid. This means you can run two synthesis benches to make 396 acid per 8 hours for 20k, and you're still 2k EL ahead. If you run another Chiron in another hour you get another 22k EL and another 60 acid. Basically ACID is no longer a concern with Sulphur chemist; you can even move onto Tungsten AP ammo easily. Your main concern at that point is Electronic Parts if you're running Shrapnel if you want SMART ammo (so you should get electronic grabbers and the electronic disassembly spec) You need sulphur? Eat mining food (Canned Seafood in Oil) and solar drill some suphur nodes east of the map for 10 minutes.

Dont know if its updated, but the Gatling Cannon: Power Blast DOES deal bonus damage on shields with missiles! And also works for other players when they use your cannon. It's only the durability recover that doesnt function since its not in your territory. so id say its a S tier perk to grab! Just so ya'll know!

fun fact about the furnace efficiency’s, they stack additively, so if you have 50% and 60%, you craft stuff instantly. i can craft thousands of glass and bricks in one furnace, in maybe 20 seconds

Super refiner when you make them take 15w but you get another slot so it’s 5w for one less facility. Also it’s only 30m to convert so it is in fact way better than you think if you’re in an oil field.

Electric Drill: Treasure Hunt on a regular Advanced drill has me absolutely rolling in Stardust, Silver and Gold when combined with canned fish. People overrate the Solar Drill but maybe just because its able to be sold.

There are so many useless perks that all 4 options for half of the specialties was choosing the least worthless of the bunch. Glad i got to replace the worthless portable fridge for sulfur chemist. Super refinery just got patched yo be able to process crude and can take 2 stacks of 1k each. I also think it processes at twice the speed. So for 15 watts to process 4 barrels of crude an hour where you need 40 watts for the regular refineries.

Stone Structure: Intense Defense is actually great. Your stone walls have more hp than those concretes. And far less travel in the memetics tree to unlock them. Id put it on S Tier.

Get the 30% less resources used ant 30% less time for ingots + double ingot perk+ 50% more ammo= around 40000 rifle rounds from one stack of crafted ingots for the price of 70 ingots. How this works is you make a full stack of 99. It only costs you about what it would for 70 ingots with the 30% resource discount. But when you pull them out after crafted you get 198 ingots instead due to the double craft. Now you craft the bullets with the 198 will say 11800 bullets for 99. Yet with the 50% more some how it come out to 19 -20k bullets. But since you craft all 198 it comes out to about 40k bullets. You can do similar math for ap ammo but bit they have other restrictions. Now why 50% more bullets is closer to double i don't know..... maybe a translation error or a coding error?

The art of stardust decay is pretty good because if you can make stardust yourself you it’s actually better than sulfur chemistry because it is way faster to craft the acid and you don’t have to waste el. But the perk alone ain’t anything fancy but with a combo high tier.

Storage crate is amazing, I have so much loot... I needed the 64 storage crate. You're capped on amount of storage crates being able to place. Gravel is AMAZING if you play in PvP servers. You need to build in frontiers every 2 days and require A LOT of materials.

I think you're sleeping on the increased storage crates and backpack, think of how much time you spend sifting through crates and fast traveling home to drop off overweight inventories, that time saved alone is worth it imo. Sulfur chemist paired with the stardust smelts into acid is great as well, stardust source is SO EASY to obtain on pvp servers you kinda need another way to spend it tbh. This list can be very misleading for pvp players btw.

Because prime wars is the only place you can get keyword suffixes. Pro dungeons/silos and nisa can only give you violent / precise / talents suffix (crit dmg, weakspot dmg, elemental) but the mods from primewars can drop build specific attributes like 25% shrapnel crit dmg, 12% weakspot dmg to units affected by bullseye, 6% increase proc chance etc which are significantly stronger than the basic additional attributes.

I'd have to say I disagree on the super refinery. it IS in fact faster than a regular refinery in converting Fuel into Premium fuel, and does it with half the fuel. The regular refinery requires 50 portable fuel per 1 premium, and requires an hour. The super refinery requires only 25 portable fuel per premium and does so in 30 minutes. This means a super refinery produces 2x as much premium fuel in the same amount of time/portable fuel as a regular refinery. The biggest problem with the super refinery, however, is that it cannot turn crude oil into portable fuel which means if you want a pipeline of Oil > Portable fuel > Premium fuel --you need both types of refinery for maximum production and that eats a *lot* of power--. So much so that I'm not even certain a single base can fully make use of the speed of the super refinery without going all in on power perks. So for that alone, I'd probably put the super refinery in the C if not B tier if only because of the bonus to your passive premium fuel generation, but that is -only- if you're on an actual oil-producing area. That said, even the best refinery set up is insignificant compared to simply farming extraction permits which hands out premium fuel like candy. *Updated for post August patch* The Super refinery just got boosted even more, now that it's also able to turn crude oil into portable fuel, still at a 10:5 ratio but in only 30 minutes, instead of an hour. So one super refinery can go through 20 crude oil per hour instead of just 10. Simultaneously they can also work on converting portable fuel into premium, meaning for 5 water pumps you only need a total of 3 super refineries to convert all the crude oil into portable fuel -and- convert that portable fuel into premium fuel seamlessly. Opposed to having 5 regular refineries + 1 super refinery.

PVP'er here. I'll give my 2 cents on Frontier view of things. We'll preface by saying that structures are there to slow down attackers as they need to blow up their way with C4 to a resonator. Basic: defense: The sandbags and other fortifications is definitely D-tier. Claymore mines: Not often used since most mixed explosives get used to making C4. Not to mention easy to spot, BUT even purple claymore cheekily placed can ruin a day. I'd be generous and place it on the C tier. Spectral cloak. Invisibility is amazing. Though in PvP we got two whim potions: Parapsychology and Predator. The first one gives you a warning when enemy meta is aiming at you, the second one gives you also an invisiblity. Cannot run the two whims at same time though since it's from same deviant. B or C, depending on your playstyle. Stardust barrier: Can be useful in coordinated assault/defenses, I'd say C. Never seen it used though. Explosives on the go AND exposive sack AND explosive throwback: Nailed there. Definitely A if not S. More C4 to use basically. Flamethrower trap: F in PVP too. Static defenses gonna be mostly rifles, maybe at times one shotgun. Turrets aren't that great at killing metas but metas are pretty amazing at killing turrets. So you want as much range from your turrets as possible in most bases. Furnace sintering: The amount of bricks you need is TOO DAMN high. Having one sinterer in warband makes preparing strongholds a lot faster and easier. B Stardust regulator: I'd go with B. SUPER strong, but with TTKs being so low and reg's cooldown being so high, it won't make you a juggernaut. Stonestructures: B in PVP too. The extra HP puts stone stuff above reinforced by 800, which is basically 2 more C4s. High powered warheads: Absolutely sexy. A. Lets you demolish better from safer distance. Bit expensive so can't spam it like C4 Ultra grenade: Considering grenades seem to do reduced damage to structures anyways.. C just because C4 exists. Reinforced structure: healing: I'd go with C. The healing MIGHT be useful before wars when cheeky scouts are seeing if they can make their attacks easier, but honestly. If meta wants to blow a hole, they can do it relatively fast. --- Non PVP related 2 cents Also, the efficiency lover DOES drop the power consumption by 50% WHICH can he huge if RNG isn't blessing you with good power related perks. Granted, worst of the furnace perks though. I'd say stardust mining platform has it uses. It's 20% yield on everything when it's in polluted zone AND you don't need to put any points to grab a mining platform. Unfortunately mining platforms seem little iffy to use, sometimes just randomly not doing anything, sometimes you log in and just swim in whatever resource you picked it to mine. Gold pickaxe might pair nicely with the food that makes you mine with single hit.. But still, worth it over solar drill? Probably not.

It's beyond insane to me that perks like Gourmond isn't S Tier and Iced Treat is literally F tier. Elemental builds all run Whimsy drink for the +25% damage, and everyone runs food buff. These two perks are some of the very very few perks that directly impact your ability to min-max damage, and not by a small amount either. Meanwhile, perks like Mini-canner, which provide extremely marginal buffs to mid game economy are labeled S tier despite the fact that it, at most, saves you minutes of meat farming on some builds in the mid game for stuff like Canned Meat, before those builds move on to Shattered Bread. The super refinery being F tier despite being the most time efficient producer of one of the three main material gate. "Just buy it" is for stuff like Backpack or Crates, when most of the S-Tier list is buyable as well. Oh, and the Stardust healing perk getting a "D-Tier" classification is pretty bad too. It's literally a spammable activator that also comes with a barrier and is arguably the most impactful of any tactical item in the game. This tier list is an active travesty.

Power Generator: Stardust Unleashed - if you took 2 other perks to have + 2 gens, you can first put deviation generators (8) and then switch with fragments to this one, then you'll have 392w. Interesting update. I played on a PVE Server only until phase 2. Switched to PvP we are in phase 3. I don’t do a whole lot of PvP tho not even in the wars. I got 4 energy specs all in a row in phase 1. Lemme just tell u I was powering everything and I didn’t even need it😂 the salt farm was going crazy. Even tho the gen upgrades might not all be useful after the first phase. I was able to trade people and have them give me their specs for an extra gen in their base. It is definitely a useful skill to trade for other skills. I would just change the solar one later on

Nice list but U are objectively wrong about a few of them...like If u have Oil Processing perk, Art of Acid decay is a perfect combo. Get unlimited Stardust Source and make unlimited Acid. Super Refinery is really good if u making Biomass . It takes 25 Mixed fuel instead of 50 and it takes 30 Mins instead of 1 hr. Pulse Power Device is useless I agree as it only works in rainstorm but Lightning Impulse Regulator isn't completely useless. It's works in PVP events, when the opponent has a lightning build and dropping lighting on u every 2 second.

Sigh... his assumption that HIS way to play is the ONLY way to play the game annoys the ever-living f*ck out of me. Mixing Crystal Transformation with Oil Processing can be pretty damn useful. Startrace ore into stardust source means you never lack for stardust so using it to make those ever-needed crystals for armor and weapon calibration and repair... Yeah. And if you think that startrace ore is scarce or rare, you haven't wandered around the far northwest corner of the chalk peak region. A 10 minute run through the area generally gets me 2000+ ore... which means 2000+ stardust.

Hmm, I kinda disagree, I think Art of Stardust is not so bad to be in D-Tier especially when combined to "Stardust Mining Platform " then (using Oil Processing Specialization) craft stardust and portable fuel and get stardust source. Then the Art of Stardust decay comes in. Reliable source for stardust and acid, plus I don't have to farm for it. The downside is: Very dependent on other spec but they might design it that way for you to team up with other players who have the specs you need.

Gear bench is b tier. Art of decay is c tier because if you also get once of the stardust perks it is very good to have. Treasure hunter is b tier because it works with solar drill. If you are hurting for power the efficiency lover furnace perk can help balance your electrical needs so that is c tier. Stardust water pump is too expensive with its massive battery cost, its f tier. You rated gravel on the go higher than backpack expansion? Come on man that is not even logically consistent. Also they are both c tier. Super refinery does more than use acid to make fuel it can also make crude into pmf and pmf into premium, It is a c tier. Portable fridge is f tier because it costs too many batteries and you are never carrying that much food with you to make this worth it because of the weight of the food.

I disagree, with some of the perks landing in D tier, especially Efficiency lover. It's a pretty solid choice. If you are crafting en masse in preparation for Primewar, that crafting speed can save you so much time, especially if you are you have oil processing perk, this greatly reduces the crafting of stardust source, so instead of crafting 4950 stardust source for more than an hour, you'll be able to craft it in less than an hour, saving you time that you should be spending doing primewars. There's also the added benefit of less power consumption, if you are runing 3 or more furnaces, each electric furnaces will take up 5 watts of power each from your generator, occupying precious wattage output, but with this perk, you'll have more room for other production facilities such as pumps and refineries as this cuts the furnace's power consumption by 60%, some might say "but you only need 1 furnace"... well, if you're in end game, you'll know you need 3 or 4 furnaces. Also, Stone structures: Intense defense is heavily used by builders in primewars as it makes stone foundations much more tougher than concrete foundations, and also less resource intensive, easily an A tier for general primewar usage, and an S tier for a builder oriented primewar blocker. Also, the Red Plasma spec is by far the biggest sin on this list, without it you'll never be able to clear Nightmare Primewar, it's its own category amongst everything listed here, and should be an S+

Noob needs Help:....How many enhanced effects can I have on the electro furnace? For now I have "Smelting time -30% when smelting copper, bronze, steel, alumium and tungsten", and "Doubles yield when smelting Aluminium and Tungsten" on it and I can select the gold,silver perk, the Power, Time perk and the Stardust Source to Crystals perk, I have them all in different Specialization tabs so I could select them all.

This tier list doesn't consider how some memetic only appear on 5-15 20-35 and 40-50. It's also outdated already. Most craftables u can sell at 5-15 are atleast C tier since u can sell them and there are not many good ones at 5-15 other than super refinery being S tier since it's 2.5 times better than the original. Gardening gloves are great and always wanted by people too. Turning spoiled food into fertilisers is also A tier imo. Converting things in various directions is also always good. Turning stardust ore and fuel into acid is by no means bad. These are the few faults I saw. Other than that, it's a good list.

Personally, I'd raise all the foods specializations one tier higher. Between perishable & canned goods, perishables just have more buffs. Roasted & Dried is good early whereas Mini Cans are great late because they have different effects & yields, which meets your demands at the current play. Early on, I got Moonlight Axe & Forest Foe. My wife got all the building ones. We play the game for different reasons.

Treasure Hunter is good Tier A to B, if you know how to do business. Tier D if you don't know how to business. Still, it depends. Pretty useful in Hive and Warband, you just have to think how beneficial this is and how many member you can help with it. 😂 It also have stack effect with canned seafood. Can farm thousands of ores. Also Super Refinery doubles the yield in just 30 mins of time instead of 1 hour with additional slot for processing. You don't have to use acid on it.

I just started playing the game this month, I have a ton of specialitzation perks that are beyonde useless, and the funny part is, since they're all random, I dont even know where KI have some good dperks to pick. I have to waste a recalibration controller, of which we only get 1 a week, 1 A WEEK! Just to check if there is some good perk options when I try to recalibrate, and if there is none, its a recalibrator I wasted and must wait for next week now. Very stupid and brainless idea to puit it behinde such a time wall, since we still in BETA! A lot of players still doesnt know what are the good perks, and which are trash.

Thanks for this great video. It helped me a lot to get an overview about all this specialisations. Allthough some things I think are mixed up. Why is Sulfur Chemist, where you need sulfur and enegy links for crafting in A tier and Sullfur Alchemy where you just need the sulfur in B tier. The time on crafting is both 8h so Chemist is just more expensive. I think they should be swapped.

Stardust Unleashed only gives +15% on Deviation Generators not -1 +40% the Gattling Cannon Powerblast with +30% works on prime wars too so i see it as super strong cause you will need 30% less missles and atleast it worked for us with Gattling Cannon 2 the backpack expansion is really nice to have the 64 storage crate i reached max ressources around week3 and the Bench with 30% more Condition i had my weapon breaking so often on Pro or Higher Dungeons/Bossfights

The excuse that "someone else can take this and you can just buy it" is a terrible reason to rate things differently. Say in a perfect world, everyone listens to you and only gets the options you consider S tier, or the new feature comes out and everyone swaps to the S tier specs.... Then no one has those things and no one sells them. They are only worth nothing IF someone already has it. If no one has them, many of them you just passed over are actually incredibly worthwhile. E.g. you rated the Composter as A tier.... someone else can make that and you can buy it too. Why is that one a higher rating than say... the electronics detector? I think the whole "someone else can sell it to you" is just not a good reason to rate something differently.

the rating is wack if you rate stuff bad soley because other can make it solar drill would be f tier or other facilities can be build by others as well , you could rate them by money making standards . And backpack expansions fly off the shelves but once everyone has a solar drill (and they only want it with treasure hunter else dont bother) they collect dust. i made at least 1 of my 5 mil EL of backpack items . Compost bin is one of the worst bp items no one buys it . For Backpack items , BP expansion , gravel and log on the go, gardening gloves and harvest sicle are the best . Plus you gotta add what level tier their in most backpack items are level 5-20 with no other good choices at times (like pickaxe items that you wont need anymore after a drill), only other early perks would be 1 furnace efficiency and storage chest upgrade which wouild be top contenders. For the Facilities perk people want the combined , so if you take a furnace perk better make sure to take the other 3 , same for salvage and supply etc. else they are trash and you are better off asking someone else to build it in your base .
