I have low porosity hair and have ALWAYS struggle with retaining moisture even when I was relaxed. I stopped using the baggy method (because of laziness) and suffered a major setback. Lesson learned. I've been using this method on and off for the last 1.5 years. I had to cut off 3 inches of length due to dry ends. the point of this video is simple - do your regular moisture routine then add a baggy just to retain more moisture. No matter the hair style, I do the baggy method 1-2 times a week.

I too hve low porosity hair. I found out the hard way, my hair. HATES! HATES! HATES!...protein! waiting on ur final daily routine. Also, where can I find your dermatologist. All of the ones I have gone to do NOT understand OUR hair. One told me I could NOT grow my hair out with just hair oils. when I was living proof sitting right in her face. Never went back! My routine worked, but like you, I wanted to do more. I went to a professional. I had a huge set back and could not put attention into my hair(health issues). Lost my routine that worked. Know im starting over. Shaved my hair a week ago. I'm so glad I found you❤❤. Can I please have info on the dermatologist? I need to find her😂. Also, what oil are u putting on your edges?

@@t.j.4414 hey! 1. PROTEIN IS MY WORST ENEMY lol i tried and tried and it failed me over and over again. I do a mild protein treatment quarterly but i still can’t stand it. 2. I go to Dr Alexis Stephens (type in her name on KZbin) shes black, she knows our skin & hair type. She’s based in Parkland Florida. The oil I use is prescribed by her. 3. My routine video is so simple: wash every 2 weeks, moisturize every 2-3 days, pick a protective style & leave your hair alone. That’s it lol video will be up soon though. I appreciate your comment & good luck on this new journey 💕

It's absolutely amazing how fast your hair has grown back, it looks so good. I use castor oil on my ends to keep them moisturised, recently found out its a humectant so it will pull moisture to your hair. I make sure my hair is uncovered when I take a bath so all that water vapour gets into my hair.

I love seeing your hair flourish like it has. Your hard work is paying off!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 That hair concoction really works but I’m finding that it is a bit strong in smell and I’m a bit self conscious when I’m around my Caucasian friends. 🤭 They don’t get it.

Lord my scalp is always dry vs my hair. My hair dries up within five days . But after day two of washing my scalp looks like Christmas. Stressful I appreciate your videos. They’re helpful and it actually helps grow hair. I can’t stand the hair community that basically tell you to use a ton of things but their hair isn’t growing or healthy

Your comments are always so well spoken! You hit the nail on the head about ‘some’ natural hair girlies 🥴 & same with my hair! My hair gets dry after 2 days no matter what I do. My blood work is fine so it’s a moisture retention problem. It’s caused me to lose a good 5 inches in my 2 years and I can’t stand it. I just need that one miracle moisturizer and I’ll be good 😭
