Really shows how op the golden armor plates are when you are in T3 zone with no juggernog, no staminup and a megabomb shows up. For the collar I just put in a molotov in a tier 1 dog house and the dog gave the item, no flesh needed. Btw the dog collar bounty in tier 3 can be overwhelming to do as a solo. I had the bounty mangler(bullet sponge 1), another named mangler(bullet sponge 2) and a normal one (in the video there seems to be 3 disciples for the camera). All 3 were alternating their ranged attack (blinding, staggering me and stripping off my plates) as well as T3 zombies spawning nonstop. With a pap3 weapon and a few molotovs, this wasn't it. It took me a very long time and a few trips to the ammo depot. At the end the storm was expanding, I had a turret that was hoping to keep but it helped a little bit, then the bounty mangler seemed to glitch and slowly float away while healing, the turret and I focused on him, the final fifth of his health bar went to zero and the rift appeared with the golden dog collar. Weird, endless fight.

I did it, was not the easiest thing to do. Excellent advice for the juggernaut suit. I set up a Sentry Turret plus had two buddies, help me and hit the juggernaut suit right when he came for a extremely short visit

I have done the easter egg, killed the mega, got the sigil and gone into the first dark aether. But now when I go to the portal it wont spawn in, it just has all the pedestals again. Even though I have several sigils. When I went in I only completed the extractors and outlast, do I need to complete all 3 in order to gain permanent access? I have already completed the elder with a buddy but it wont let me access the portal even though I did everything. I just want to go into this one because it has better acquisitions than the second dark aether.

I just looked it up on Reddit, it’s glitched out just invisible. You can still interact with it just really annoying to try find the right spot, if you move around the area it’s usually at on the left side (right side for elder sigil) you’ll eventually get it. Hopefully they fix it soon.

The cyber cat pack is glitched inside of zombies and only comes in as one. My friend had the same issue

You can put them in your stash if you tombstone glitch out. But if you try to bring it back in from your stash it will disappear

I have tried so many times after season 2 reloaded to do this Easter egg to open this old rift to the Dark Aether but doesn't seem to work what so ever. I have redone Badsignal 3 times now and solo and 3 times I have gotten the golden journal and then I try to go do obtain the dog collar, the security camera and pills but it doesn't seem to work. I was trying to shoot the orb with the dead wire ammo mod but it never turned yellow or droped the purple camera...it worked yesterday when i did it with a team tho???also the spores in nest wont brain rot but worked yesterday not problem...anyone know why???

Did you have the locked journal in your inventory while doing it? My guess is you have to have that in your inventory

I have the same issue. The orb went yellow in the past when I wasn't trying to do the Easter egg and took a pot shot at one while driving by. Now I have all 3 items in my inventory (diary, collar, bottle) and it still won't turn yellow. I even bought a wall gun with no pack a punch, added deadwire, nothing. I tried with no easter egg items in my inventory and that didn't work.

I still have the diary in my inventory...when me and the team went in I brought the camera and dog collar other dude bought in pill bottle and diary so I never lost my diary...but for some reason after that little update I had on the game before playing...neither the brain rot spore for the purple pill bottle works the spore won't catch the brain rot for me to open...and I ran into 3 orbs yesterday and the dead wire didn't work on any of them... they didn't turn yellow but I still tried to destroy em just in case and no purple camera out of any...hopefully it's back working when I play later...

Once you unlock the portal you don’t have to go in. You will now get “sigils” from tier 3 contracts, then can use those sigils to go in the portal to tier 4. In tier 4 you can earn “elder sigils” which will allow you to use the back of the portal to go to tier 5 and get the garunteed classified schematics

I did the act 4 contract and am now trying to get all the items on the map for example the pill bottle I used brain rot on the cyst in the nest but it doesn't work it just destroys it. Same effect with using dead wire on the orb. Any idea why?

Are you using act 1 exfil and exiting out of the game? Or the act 4 portal? If your using a normal exfil the glitch will not work sometimes

I did this and opened the rift but died out when the mega appeared. And I tried using the elder sigil and the game kicked me out to the lobby and crashed and said matchmaking canceled. Do you have to do the tier 4 side of it first. To be able to do the tier 5 the elder side? No one seems to know the answer.

After the first time when you place the four items on the totems, do you have to go around and collect those again to be able to return to the aether portal? or once it’s opened all you need is a sigil/elder sigil

Once you unlock the portal you just need a sigil or elder sigil for it to work. A friend can even bring in one and give it to you to use.

You can do it all in tier 1. Except fighting the bosses. There's a t1 t2 and t3 boss, so make sure you're set up to fight a t3 boss with multiple hvt friends.

1st, if the orb doesn't change color to yellow when you hit it with dead wire or cyst doesn't change to greenish when shot once with brain rot ammo mod, stop trying, it won't work. 2nd, do you have the act 4 mission completed and activated in your menu? If not, then go ahead and try that. I noticed when I was trying that when the gas is expanding, the steps won't work. Also, the 1st time I tried the bounty for the camera, I got the whisp to spawn the purple contract, but I wasn't geared up. I waited 20 minutes and the contract was still there, but the bounty I got was a tier 2 mangler instead of a disciple. No golden camera, had to try again.
