Def agree to start small! I had $150k in my savings. Started with a margin account right away. Over traded waaaaaay too much. Lost $60k in the first two months. Start small folks. Don’t even pay attention to dollar amounts. Focus solely on percentages with a bare minimum amount of money. If you’re not good trading with $200 trades you’ll likely be TERRIBLE with $1000+ trades. I now focus on increasing my account 1-2% each day. Waaay better success & way less stress.

Yessir...! I put aside $1,000 with leverage to try, and I've been working trades like a muscle. Small amounts, risk reward of 1.5:1, aiming for $15 of profit for ever $10 loss. I agree with you, get the skill and stake the odds in your favour... then go in with bigger amounts after. Hope you're getting into a good pace, sir!

The amount of value that you provide is insane. I've not found another channel that actually shows, step-by-step, the value that you pack into each video of yours! THANK YOU! As a newbie, without even ever have placed a trade on demo, I feel fear of pushing the wrong button or doing something incorrect. So, to watch you in real time is quite refreshing prior to actually placing a trade. Side note: You should charge for 1-on-1 coaching for like 1 hr, etc. I'd love to hire you as a coach to assist me in setting up my tradingview account, etc. etc. Thanks again.

@@traderzzz123 This is something I would be interested in as well. It certainly seems like a lot of this makes sense, but as someone who's almost completely ignorant on the subject, I have no idea whether he can back up this instruction with proof that it works. I saw a news story covered by every single major network one time about a subject that I actually knew quite a bit about but the general public did not. I would easily say 80% of the information every news network was putting out was absolutely incorrect. But, if the viewer didn't know any better, everything they were saying sounded plausible. Turns out they were just sensationalizing everything and it was garbage.

@@marioStortuga Really appreciate this insight. Until you understand trading, it’s extremely complicated from the outside looking in. I’m starting to get hang of the bare basics. I can at least not lose money overall. That’s a start. I’ll be much happier when I can make a little.

I've tried hundreds of tutorials and strategies... to improve my results - really learned a lot. And tried hundreds of indicators. But.... Your simple way of trading is the most successful so far! This is the turning point in my win/loss ratio. I now interpret the chart - and don't let indicators interpret it! I now apply clear rules and do not rely on a green or red arrow. I've been trading on various exchanges for about 7 years and you are my breakthrough! Now there is something on top of it.... my 70-year-old mother - implements your strategy and makes profits and she enjoys it! Because she is really good at implementing the rules, which are actually quite simple. You are a trader maker! Compliment! ....hope you read this ;)

Some indicators provide leading signals though. A divergence is useful for knowing when a trend is going to continue or reverse. Also momentum signals are good because momentum precedes the price.

great video, really hit all the highlights. My only suggestion is that you shouldnt just arbitrarily pick profit targets of 2:1 or 3:1 etc profit targets should be based off the chart, previous high/low, touch of trendline, something that gives you an actual thesis for the trade not just hoping that the stock randomly makes it to a target. Then you evaluate whether that profit target meets your risk criteria (Greater than 2:1 or 1:1 whatever your style may be) and then you enter the trade only if it meets your trade conditions. Otherwise solid video, loved the trailing stop thats a great way to let your runner run risk free

A quick question how many days back do you scroll on the 15 min when plotting S/R zones. Do you just use a couple recent days data ? Also do you ever look at bigger timeframes for more definitive pivot points ? Thanks again for the great content.

I have a strategy like yours reversals and continuation plays but seems every time I short the reversal it goes say 10 points more on es get stoped and then it goes seems I'm early on the entry's for lo g and short I have had 3 trades the past week that stoped me out only to go in my direction after is there a better way to mitigate this I do look at the higher time frames to see the overall support an resistance but man just struggling then you have loss after loss and then u don't take the next trade this is the cycle I'm stuck in

@@RileyColemanyes, but just because something works in market A doesn't mean it works for market B. If a strategy works in a market, it would be good to look for markets that have similar personalities. For example, I wouldn't use a strategy for trading gold and then assume I can go trade the dollar/peso the same way.
