The chainsaw produces the most cutting trees and lumber. The saw produces the most sticks when cutting tree tops or long sticks into short sticks. If you build an improvised workbench and keep a tool box around you can maintain sharp objects at the base and keep the grinding stones when you're out and don't have access to a lathe or drill press. Keep an eye on the workbench. Unless they changed something in a recent update the workbench isn't maintained when you maintain the base at the flag. When you have the workbench in inventory it'll show it's durability.

Looks like your base at the CC had an enormous growth spurt since the last time I saw it. Not to be too critical of your old base but, it does look a lot better.😊😊👍👍

@@TheGoodishGamer It's different. Doesn't mean you can't have a nice place down on the coast. I prefer to be on the water. To be able to pull the boat up to the base. I've built a few bases like that and still haven't dropped a single fishing line in the water.

you can have a log in your big backpack and one in your hands ;-) or.... move a chest full of logs to the 2nd floor next time! 😛

I tried moving the chest full of logs but it wouldn’t sit on my stair landing and I couldn’t pick it up because it was too heavy 😆

@@UR-manden Same here. Sometimes i use 2 metal chest. On a set of stairs with a mid platform I'll sit the chest on it then move it to the top. On a spiral staircase I can place the chest in a good position on the floor then stand in the middle and place the chest on the floor above me. Really helps when building 7 floors up.
