The boys and I tackle some jobs on Ollis Mk2 sleeper. we fabricated a down pipe and screamer. And had to sort an oil drain. This little car is a going to be a ripper!!!

I had a mk1 ss at 19 year old with a tuned 1.6 in it. Unlike majority of them I didn't crash mine...police got so fed up of me when I broke down (due to drive shaft shredded) I left it at side of road and they towed it MILES away. When I went to pick it up instead of disconnecting battery the cnuts had taken chunks out of cables with bolt croppers so I threw log book at them in a fit of rage....I still kick myself everytime I see an old fez especially when I see what money they bring😢. Yes I was young& very stupid but had some amazing times in the 2 year I had it. I bet this is great fun to drive👍👏

That does sound bloody nice at the end on the road test. I've had a 1.1 pop plus mk1, a mk1 XR2 which I tuned with with a full Janspeed, Stage 2 Head, Piper Fast Road Camshaft and K&N. 2 mk2 XR2's which were pants in comparison, a mk3 1.6 sport (dull), a mk3 RS Turbo that I should never of sold and a mk5 fiesta fronted courier van. Fiestas are just smiles for the miles!

@@R118GSiVVC I sold a pg1 gearbox to a guy with a four door Rover 111 in Kingfisher metallic... which was fitted up with the same motor as yours and even still had plastic wheel trims... the proverbial wolf in sheep's attire!

Oh to have workshop facilities such as this! Best I can muster is a trolley jack, stands and tools. Any welding, machine work etc has to be farmed out and normally let down with empty promises like a lot of other people on here. Great channel and content though. Especially the modified ford racing!

Cool motor 😎 the 1st car i had on the road, was pretty much the same as this fine example! Same colour as well. Except it was a 957cc popular.. 4 speed box.. if you pushed it, it was good for 80mph, maybe a bit more, but not much!!

Takes me back to when I upgraded my missus's Valencia auto MK2 Fiesta with the full XR2 package inside and out and did some modding on that little 1100 OHV engine as I found in a cupboard of bits an aggressive camshaft I bought way back in the eighties for a MK2 Escort build I never got to finish, Weber carbs on and Sparkrite leccy ignition that thing was fiesty and because I polybushed everything was very tight on corners. For the last 9 years my daily driver has been my MK2 Robin which is shapewise a MK2 Fiesta and insanely fun to drive, even uses the same front lamps and grille from the MK2 Fiesta, so if you are ever stuck for lamps, Reliant Robin MK2 is one source. My dream has been to source a set of the MK2 Fiesta quad lamp kits for my Robin but rare as rocking horse doings lol

Thinking about putting a cheeky turbo on the ST170 MtX75 Mk1, not a lot of clearance at the front because of how far you have to sit the engine forward for the gearbox to clear the steering rack though. I swear I will mount the grill I got off of ya soon with the cheeky FPE stickers.

Great build, I like the 'we'll make it fit and work' engineering approach! Sleepers are always a lot of fun! I just love that look you get from smokin' some sporty boy racer with something your granny would go shopping in! 😯😁😎👍 Have done similar in my Fiat Panda 4x4 0.9 Twinair 875cc 2 cylinder turbo, which puts out quite a lively 85bhp stock and 105bhp with a remap! 😁 Just wish I could squeeze a bit more out of it, any tips? Different turbo? Exhaust or intake mods? 🤔😮😎👍
