Sadly, this seems to be a problem with all these "beginner" videos. They claim to be for beginners but are clearly for experienced vets who already understand what is being said and are just looking to change class. They are not beginner-friendly at all and overwhelm you with excessive information. Furthermore, they never show you how to actually build the character they are talking about. Instead, they always offer you a fully decked out level 50 character who already has a 160CP and the best weapons and armour. Beginners need a step by step guide that takes them from level one to fifteen. Once they are level fifteen and start doing dungeons, they should have a basic grasp of their class and skills and more in-depth information. From that point, videos focussing on the best load-outs for specific situations, PvE, PvP and solo etc., would be more appropriate. Although I would argue that there is too much information, even for those players. I am not even new to gaming or MMOs, but I am new to ESO, so I struggle to understand what is being said because I don't understand the game yet. If someone like me, who is already a gamer and has played other MMOs, is struggling to comprehend, then those people who are true beginners have no hope at all. To be clear, I am not saying that this person and others like him are not doing a good job, only that the videos they make are not "beginner" guides, despite being positioned as such.

The only mmo i have played before this is runescape and honestly you got to put the work in and google any sets you might aim for and go at it your own way. Trust me when i say this guy helps a lot and anyone who posts ESO Content tbh because its super rare and anything is helpful right? I know what your saying but i think the game is based on the learning curve and you learn lots by just straight up playing the game! BRAH we got this

Awesome video, i just recently got into sorc and i think I'll be switching mains. Im in love with the class. This video has so much info in it, its awesome man.. I do really hope you keep making these, I'd love to see one for every class Ya should try restraining prison on a sorc tank. Imo in 4 mans it's an awesome skill, very similiar to talons on a DK. Also i think ya forget to mention what activating Bound Aegis does... The +40% block mitigation is crazy good ona tank if ya time it right. P.S Your magicka sorc outfit cracks me up lol

@TimmyTrashCan all classes in This game are Spell Caster/Assassin/Warrior/Healer/Tank etc Even Dragon Knight Have some skills that fit in a Mage Like Style, even Night Blade has some skills that would be for a "Mage"

The green is actually important in combat. Pvp and pve. The food and potion boosts as well as the weapon glyph cooldown boost.

32:10 mom I'm on screen again. Also sorc tanks dont have any aoe stuns so sorc tanks should just streak through adds to stun them in place while grouping them up. But yeah use it on my magsorc to kite bosses and do dungeons quicker.

The roots ability that increases your healing received doesn't seem like a healer ability but a tank one? Keeps enemies from running and can make it easier on the healer and DPS? I'm surprised you don't find that to be useful? Also in pvp? I've only been playing for a week now so what do I know but it sounds OP honestly

Always mained a dunmer sorc. They can rock all 7 play styles. Yes 7 including vamp & W/W. The armoury station is king. I can now play all builds on my sorc easily and rock any content as required. My alts are very lonely now. Keep these vids coming. Xlnt content.

For gear on a dps sorcerer i would go mothers sorrow and force gods sets it sill seams best in slot and monster set zaan is amazing single target set even as a starter sorcerer u wont go wrong whith mothers sorrow

Boundless storm Does NotCC targets... Off balance only occurs with lightning wall of elements when the Concussed status effect is applied. Targets must then be medium/heavy attacked to be cc'd.

I have been making alts for future use (for now only created so I can horse train them for later) and all are based on OCs and one such is a stam sorc seeing as this looked like a badass playstyle to charge in as an elementally charged brawler. Probably gonna stick to 2H only though to remain thematic and limit myself only to skills that are limited in range. Not gonna be a character I take to hard group content anyways.

For any mag sorcs out there, have you been gong thief or shadow after the update? I was using shadow at about 55% crit and switched over to thief to get about 61% but tbh the difference in my parses seem to be negligible. Thoughts?

well in terms of pure damage ya.. if your going in solo its good to have the clannfear to heal but if you tend to go in big groups of players you want all the damage you can get since theirs always a healer.. well not always but you get my meaning lol

I don't like DPS because it's too repetitive and boring to me. But I made a sorc tank for kicks and it's my favorite PUG/overland character. Lots of damage at the cost of some pure tanking. However, you've got some good utility

Yeah, but how can you parse on a 21 Million Dummy when playing this way no spell weaving/animation canceling? Also in the lead up to this, you acted like you could play with this and almost never run out of magic then proceed to lean heavily into heavy attacks thereby pretty much using the heavy attack to recharge your Magicka this was laughable so you mean to tell me you can keep your Magicka filled by heavy attacking no way (Sarcasm). Trying to do a decent parse like this has to be impossible and just about any build can run the normal content.

I can't wait until Ashes of Creation... I thought ESO was supposed to be the game that allows you to tailor your character to your own playstyle, but this is just another mmorpg that forces you to go down a meta to be effective. To make matters worse, they limit you to 10 non-ultimate abilities. Just started back again after a year hiatus and already realizing why I quit this bland game. Just another pretty looking casual game.
