Just as a fun fact: The Ultimate Spiderman from Marvel Legends (Space Knigth Venom wave) is based in the art of Stuart Immonem. The web patterns, the shape of the eyes and the overall proportion matches perfectly! even though the unmasked head is 100% Bagley´s style! I loved what you did on your custom, looks very nice!

As you pointed out, some things could have been made differently, but I think the end result came out great! Personally, I think you did a great job shortening this figure, I don't think it looks stumpy at all. And as for being "too eager" to finish a custom, I'm currently on the same place as you were: on a 1:12 scale, I'm sculpting that bionic left arm that Cable has, and after doing his biceps and triceps 2 times already, I'm stuggling to find the resolution to tear it all down because I know I can do better and it's not something I'm satisfied yet. Its a major pain, and it totally delays that satisfaction of a job done, but it sure is worth it in the end. I also like how you keep it real while reviewing your own custom, and talking about your design choices. Nice job on this, and as always, keep up the good work!

I think the eyes are better on that Spidy you bought. but your custom head looks fine. as for the webs on the belly, You only option would be to sand them down and dremol new ones. That’s true, in many ways painted webs might make more sense with the logic of his basic costume, but figure-wise I just like the look and feel of sculpted webbing

Am I late to posting a review to someone's hard work creating a custom figure?.....yes :c but anyway!!!!! It looks great :D I'd still say the eyes are probably maybe the only iffy thing about it, I see 50/50 either Mark Bagely or Todd McFarlane, especially with the pointy curves at the end with I think sculpted webs(?) Otherwise nice works :3

You need to make the eyes bigger and make him a lil fatter i mean if he's gonna be that skinny he just looks like a person who has never eaten give him a lil fat and make the eyes bigger and line them exactly perfect like for an example Andrew Garfield his suit looks like ultimate spider man use a picture of him with the costume or a figure to make it more perfect! Anyways this figure looks awesome

It looks amazing bro but there’s one little gripe i have is the spider logo on his back is a little light in color id recommend a very light black wash over it and maybe sharpen the lines on the edges too…but besides all that it’s a great custom ultimate spiderman custom keep it up man
