Wow, that was a lot of useful information packed into a 13 minute video. One correction is at 2:27 - The 'number of frames' is how many frames before _and_ after each frame are bring checked for noise artifacts. A higher number results in more frames bring checked, which can dramatically slow down your rendering times. For example, a setting of '3' means that six frames are being analyzed for noise (three before and three after) on every single frame. I usually keep it on 1, unless you have a really powerful computer. The difference between higher numbers is usually not noticeable, unless you pixel peep or you're working on a Netflix documentary that will be viewed by thousands of people.

You're right! Thanks for the correction! I looked deeper into the noise reduction settings on DaVinci Resolve’s website. When you select a higher number, it analyzes frames as you mentioned, which also leads to more intensive processing for the PC and may even produce unwanted artifacts if there's a lot of motion in your image. So, unless the image is very noisy, a setting of 1 is generally ideal for most situations.
