Few things I wanted to say which did not go into the video: - 25 billion ISK I will give to 50 new players, 500 million each who need starting capital to do station trading. This will be done once website goes live. More details (and live website date) to follow during next stream, Saturday, 16:00, 24/04/2019. - During next few streams I will spend rest of money making EVE content after which I will stop streaming EVE and will start streaming other games. - To those who may be concerned if my trading is effective, in 3 weeks I paid to my streaming character Treynar about 40 billion, but actually my capital never exceeded 50, so this is how things worked for me. During the stream I am happy to show transactions and anything to assure you that I am not making numbers up and am realistic. - If we find enough interest in community, I can launch overnight streaming with my trading as an Alpha. - Manual order update can be semi-automated or simplified with tools such as Evernus - evernus.com (complex tool but I only use Margin calculator) and Elinor (has limitation vs Evernus but it is a Margin Tool from Evernus only) - If you are interested in more details in any aspect - you can ask me questions here twitch.tv/treynar. Enjoy! Please :)

"I let my bot fight with other bots".. yeah that's the issue here. You say yourself that bots ruin the game, yet you use your own form of automation - Macro. Yes, it's not as smart as a general 'bot', but it is still a automation and is against EULA and gives you advantage over ppl who don't use it. Your not solving the problem of bots here, you are adding to it.

You are right, and I did expect negative feedback for that. Given that I have shown everything publically, I do wait for the outcome. I guess my only argument would be - it repeats 5 clicks. This is way way far from botting, I regard it more as substituting human most repeatable actions. Bots are a problem for games, yet minor automatisation has been evolving humanity. The truth in my opinion is somewhere inbetween. In case players do not need it, they will hopefully still hopefully benefit from the product choosing guide.

Regarding bots. What prevents you from tricking them into selling to a buy order price? Do people set them with floors in price?
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
I am not entirely sure since I never used actual bots in EVE, but given behaviour I have seen there are 2 types of bots: 1. "Bad quality" or "new bot user" when no matter how narrow margin is, bot will still outbid thos order by one ISK. It happens and you can come accross with those weirdly looking sell or buy orders in Jita. 2. "Proper bots" - I am 99% confident that any bot should have a margin threshold beyond which it will not outbid (i.e. 5%). It is extremely simple functionality and I think most of bots follow it This is at least how I see it, but have you noticed other things?

@@treynar1180 no. I've just wanted to start trading and so I'm looking for all the info I can. Market trading in EvE seems challenging. But as soon as I saw your comment on Bots I wanted to figure out how we can manipulate them haha.
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
I see :) Well, if you want to try it - you should! Depending on many factors, but it can be extremely profitable exercise. Back in the good days I could make 5 billions in one day, but at least for me it t is not the case anymore :( Still makes money to enjoy other aspects of the game :)

Can you set your bot's stop limit for auto update? Someone who spot you bot could screw your wallet up hardcore.
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
Hey! Not sure what you mean by bot stop limit. I mention macros which updates your own orders IRRELEVANT of anything on the market. Only bots rely on other updates and they have those smart functions I believe, but macros I mentioned is supposed to decrease number of manual updates irrelevant of others, so there is no stop limit need really

Hey great video I just have a question: How do you get the 1,44% Base Broker Fee that is shown at 9:46? I have trained Broker Relations to 5 and it still says 5% for me. Does that have to do with faction standing? And how is your Transaction Tax only 1%? Are you trading from Perimeter Trading Towers or? Because I have 2,8% with Accounting at lvl 4. Just a little confused but great guide nonetheless. You place the buyorder in Perimeter I guess but you sell the stuff there to? Or do you bring it to jita first? I dont think you do that right?
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks for the comment :) I am trading from the Perimeter - but principles stay the same for Jita - you just have to choose items better. That is why I did this website with database, which helps to choose profitable items theevetrader.com/

Just watched your video, looks very interesting. I am curious what the outcome was, did you get banned for was there no action taken against you?
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
Hey! :) Thanks for watching - I was reported by one of the viewers (fair point - I showed it to everyone) and I think I was banned for like 3 days, even did a separate video on it at the channel :)

Before I begin with my two cents, let me just set the seen!!! All other regular markets IRL allow or even promote inner tools which allow you to automatically update your sell orders on public markets like eBay as this is such a mundane task to manually do if you have a sheer volume of orders as described which is why when I was so actively trading I only skilled up to allow 45 orders max, as this was my limit really to what I could handle by clicking and updating each one manually. Hence this I cannot sanction the use of the method shown and more use to a call on CCP to allow bulk order modifications or setting greater parameters when setting your sell order, this would even the playing field for all. On the other hand can speak of the streamer integrity and the use is not to sway or disadvantage any other player and just to give him an even playing field against all the existing trading bots that are currently in use. I have simply stopped trading and that was my personal answer which also stopped my ISK flow, however I got fed up of being one step behind all the time. The real key to this guide would be for myself to get back into trading would be to find those right items to buy and sell, I could then decide whether I could really be bothered to manually update each order in its current mundane state. Look forward to the stream buddy!

isnt any form of automatation a banneble offence ? i remember that macros was not allowed
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
This is true. On the other hand I have been using it, and can't imagine what would be to update orders manually. For myself I found an explanation why to use it - but you do not have to, trading will still be profitable without macro

Good Video. Botting is destroying eve though :/ bot Mining and trading does take all the fun of the single player. The butterfly experience is a big lie nowadays a single char will get nowhere.
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment, you have a point. I think they can fix trading quite easily by either extending an order cool-off period from 5 minutes to several hours, implementing new skill which will allow you certain amount of updates per day or significantly increasing fee for each next order update you do, or mix of the above in a smarter way. I can see players being more interested in non-botted training. Great game, great potential, low player engagement.

Sorry but if your using a script and a macro to do your inputs, its botting. Good video up until that point at which point you lost some respect from me at least
@treynar11805 жыл бұрын
Hey :) I actually read your comment during my stream yesterday - because as other players commenting - you have a point and it is rational. I am not saying it is good, I am saying here is the problem and here is how I solved it. I guess my only argument would be - it repeats 5 clicks, it would be against a player to make him fight bot manually. Yet I also mentioned that from my observations humans do not 0.01 ISK others, this is why at least on paper I hope to not get advantage above other players. So your point is there, as anyone's saying similar feedback, therefore let's see the outcome of this story, I have been fully transparent and want to know what it will all result into.
