My old VHS tape of the Ultimate Streetbike Series 1989, uploaded for posterity before it disintegrates from old age ;)
Shared for those who raced back then (like me), or knew someone who did, or even just wanted to be those brave dragstrip warriors (OK, this is getting wierd)... enjoy :)
Please note: I do not own the rights to this material, I just bought the tape nearly 30 years ago because I raced in the series :)

Great video, back in 1989 I raced my tricked up GS1000 at Blyton and I was stood on the L/H side of the start line on this USB event at Blyton. I have the 1988 video here..........thanks for sharing the best era of Superbikes IMO.

3:15 "Favourites here are the Suzuki triples, which we like to know as kettles". Really? I think you'll find that only the Suzuki GT750 was known as "The Kettle"! In case you didn't know, there were other 3 cylinder Suzukis, which were NOT known as kettles! What a fucking amateur!
