You are scaring me about that oil leak issue. I have an oil smell on my brz but I took it to a mechanic and he said it was just the valve cover gasket. How common is that issue?

I don’t know but I have a WRX as well. So this issue is common I’ve heard. You will have to read forums on Subaru about it.
