That sundown may have a bigger excursion but it’s not standing up to kicker. Look at the surround difference and your putting a square up to a round. Bet you can beat that kicker vs that sundown and I bet the kicker will play while that sundown is up in smoke 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

The Kicker is a good sub but it’s absolutely no comparison to the zv6. Both in a proper enclosure. The kicker wouldn’t stand even close to it, especially for spl and power handling.

@@SoberBassHead everyone had there own opinion and their own style of sub. Personally kicker makes a product that has been here forever and isn’t going anywhere. Build for quality sound not to just move air. I think sundown makes a beautiful sub honestly. Now skar on the other hand 😂😂😂😂

I don't know if y'all know this but square subwoofers are proven to put out 30% more bass just because of their unique shape do your math and your homework

Yes but not 30% lol. It takes a doubling of cone area to get 3 db more output. The difference is so small ( less than a db) its barely if at all noticeable unless its on the meter.

Yeah, except that Sundown is rated at 2500 watts and well lets face is, it will handle MUCH more than that!!! Kicker subs are great but they don't handle way above rated power like Sundown does. That ZV6 will destroy the SoloX, sorry bro

U have to put those subwoofers in a box and meter them and listen to the sound quality of each sub to do a vs The movement of subwoofers doesn't mean anything all speakers move

These new Kicker L7X's are tanks! I can attests to that due to me running a pair from 0.5 ohm - 2 ohm since July and they are still stiff. Kicker put them through 100 hours of 2000 rms power continuously testing before release. They are a different type of sub for reel! And, they sound good when properly enclosed and tuned.

I love my 2 Solo X 15's so damn stiff an drew Jones put them to the test running the new warhorse 3600.1 Amos to each sub which was Dyno at an around 5k of kicker power don't get me wrong sundown's ain't no slouch but can't walk it with these kicker subs an that voice coil wow 3 inch coils super durable

Yes I’ve had the opportunity of hearing both of them in custom enclosures and I prefer the kicker but the sundown is a great sub also

If you actually believe the kicker here has a chance against a literal wind monster youre fooling yourself, sq wise is debatable but the zv6 would make that look soft on lowsss

The kicker is designed to do lows. Not to mention it has 20% more cone area. As of right now. There is nothing on the market that competes with the solox.

Sundown not nearly as stable and no matter what a squares more cone then round and forth more when kicker blows you can just drop in replacement

You need to pit them in a proper enclosure and have the same amount of power running through them separately. Dont bridge them together under the same power supply. Thats how you will get a true test of how different they are. I like kicker myself but wont put sundown subs down either.

Sundown Uv2 will destroyed the kicker solo x in getting loud it’s been proven already by Carlos Rodriguez.. that kicker sólo x it’s similar to a sundown Xv3 according to Jacob fuller ..I’m thinking of getting a single Solo X 12 for my daily car

F Sundown and all that windy shii. That’s not quality…just because its doing freakin hair tricks, yet old ladies can still sit in there. 🙄 Sundowns low sensitivity subs are not all that.

For xmax yes sundown beats solo x but for the xmax advantage the SA sub has the kicker makes up for it being square having more cone area. Do db meter readings with each sub in its ideal box there wont be much difference except the kicker will play all notes louder not just 30hz
