If they give melee weapons a passive bonus it might bring them out of skill gap to viable. Imagine dagger with a slight speed bonus and sword with a hp on kill or faster regen.

I said this to a friend the other day. While light is faster then say medium, if the medium is running away from u while you are said 5-10m you are stuck running after him for like 3-4 seconds before you catch up. It needs some extra speed or smth.

I'm seeing alot comments of people hating on the high mobility stuff here and on other vids and I really hope this game doesnt bend the knee to people that cant aim at anything that isnt stiff as a board because this always happens to these fun games, they come out with stuff like genji in ow or pathfinder in apex and they slowly get nerfed to the point where most the community cant even use it anymore while the other more brain dead stuff gets to stay broken and easy to use. Like dont call our fun movement broken and we wont call your 1 shotting rocket launchers and lewis gun with a ttk higher than meds ak broken 😂

Something I learned with the dagger is that you can slide jump and use the heavy mid air to hit right as you get behind them (learned this as im a filthy invis player)

Actually there is a quicker way to kill mediums and heavies for the dmg combos, it is super hard but i found out a way quicker way but harder. (Right click into medium, quickly switch to one of your equipment then quickly switch back to your sword this animation cancels the lunge cooldown allowing you to instantly get a left click swipe in then quick melee.) This kills mediums way quicker then the normal lunge, left click then melee combo but omg is it hard to pull off i have only done it once and that medium got killed in a second. ANIMATION CANCELING IS OP WITH THE SWORD Simple way to explain combo Right click Lunge, animation cancel after hit then instantly left click swing then quick melee after left swing connects.

Also another tip, if you want to get good at animation canceling so you can swing quicker, what i did was rebind my scoll down to equip sword, so you can scroll up to switch to a equipment then scroll down to swap back to sword.

I fuck people up in tournament, I dropped 27 kills 20 mins ago. Tbh the day I see someone master that combo and pull it off regularly is the day I will believe we found a master sword user

Ive been using the throwing knifes with evasive dash, and im using the dash similarly to you to use my heavy attack as a melee attack, i use it than time it out and dash into someone for a big burst of dmg, usually trying to hit for their blind spot, than you dash away and toss out a set of normal blades as you're leaving and you can side by people so quickly they dont even know what hit them.

I'm a medium player, but I run light with dash and sword sometimes for fun. I always shit on the dagger because I figured it was just a worse sword with very high risk for little reward, I now realize it's still very high risk, but at least usable and can be devastating to counter heavies with some practice. I'll be messing around with the dagger next session 👀

@@popiop I use both at the same time. Most games have separate binds for crouch, I put my main one as hold and the other one on toggle. If I'm in a gunfight for one, I don't want to worry about having to uncrouch while dealing with everything else and if I need to stay crouched normally I have time to go press another button and toggle it. This is game dependent as well though, for example Modern Warfare you need to have toggle crouch on for slide canceling but in games like Titanfall and Apex hold to crouch allows for easier slide hopping. Otherwise its personal preference.
