I know, but Cage of Thorns is AOE speed reduction. It would help dramatically other Aethelflaeds nearby. It's just a small thing, only because that specific march has that specific purpose. :)

Ram gil wil easily swarmed, while gilg nebu have anti swarm skill

Archer rallies are usually free kills if you swarm it with saladin/aethel (to reduce counter attack u get) so always go with the one that gives u antiswarm skills

I think you need to relook your attilla open field with buckler shield vs the last talent in cav. Overall though these all look great.

Is it better to use eathelfleat as secondary by saladin or baibars ? Because baibars has aoe that doesn’t decrease when hitting multiple marches and have a healing skill and march speed buff when leaving battle (so you can get out of a situation when targeted 🤷🏼‍♂️) but eathelfleat has nice debuffs and nice anti counter attack buffs 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

Question regarding CM for open field - I am a 30 mil player, with CM at 5545, fighting too many t5. I have 3 legendary gold equip…with all of this said, do you still think the talent builds shared here are best given I am fighting much strong opponents?

Is it worth placing points into Richard defense tree over the 2.5% attack/def/hp when Richard does not normally get prioritized in field? If pairing with YSG, Alex, or Aeth, wouldn't it be better to max infantry tree?

7:25 , why put cage of thorns on saladin? He already slows the target with his primary skill triggering aethel's expertise anyways

It’s my thought that Cage of Thorns will amplify the effect of other commanders around (especially Trajan+Aeth), because Cage of Thorns is AOE slow down, while Saladin’s skill is mono-target. You can anyway use the other talent tree, if you’d like :)

Thanks for the video, this is really useful. Im going through my commanders now. I had the same tree for Rams but I had 3 points into Full Quiver and 2 points only in Unyielding. Do you think its better to have the extra point in the counter attack talent vs the extra point in the attack for archer units talent? I probably had my Saladin over raging. I had Rejuvenate to 3 and I also had Undying Fury filled. My Trajan was quite a bit off from what you had so I have adjusted. Also you get extra effort points for including commanders like Tomyris and Charlemagne on this.

Hello Wick, I want to understand one thing, you choose Cage of Thorns at Saladin/Aethel combo talent to trigger Aethel bonus. But Saladin has slow effect on his active skill after that Aethel also slow the target (which is same amount of time CoT) so why do i need that talent ? Can you explain me that ? Hello there, that is my idea specifically for Sala/Aeth to make the effect of other Aeth around stronger. See, Sala’s slow is single target, while Cage of Thorns is AOE slow, giving other Aeth around the possibility to inflict more damage (for example, a lot of people are using Traj+Aeth). After some murderball tests, I found it to be a good investment overall. You just need one point there, because the enemy just needs to be slowed, the amount of slow it’s not important. I hope that this makes my suggestion clearer for you. Cheers bud

@@WickGaming I actually put three points into 3% attack, but could also put it into 1.5% defense or three points into feral nature.. Keep those stats for a longer time in a murderball and putting out those xy skill aoe and debuffs. Moment of triumph lasts maybe for the first skill proc and then we lose that.

Hey Wick, thanks for the video it's really nice to see your point of view on differents talent tree. I was Wondering, why on Nabu open-field skill tree you are using Moment of Triumph and not Razor Sharp for the rage. Maybe on "Cheeseburgering" that can be cool but on murderball you rarely have more than 90% HP. For a broader critic it would have been nice to have your detailed opinion on some of the talent choices in the important trees like rally for example.

I appreciate the content, but there is many mistakes... Buckler shield on attila, last cavalry tree talents for rallies, no peacekeeping talent giving you ress chest on killing barbarians... Maybe the scope was too wide but many feel under optimized. Cavalry stable and archer den would disagree on many talents
