I got one a few years ago. I was kind-of surprised that you said that it has dampers. It has friction dampers that are made of metal. This is one of the only complaints that I have about this truck. It is very expensive but does not have oil dampers. Thoughts?

Such a beautiful truck, Matt! I would look after it too - far to good for bashing. Love all the details and the awesome Tamiya attention to detail. You may have seen my mates Bruiser on my channel, it also has the MFC fitted with all the sounds and vibrations, it truly is fantastic. Glad you got your childhood dream, you are gonna have so much fun with this, I hope you do a running video, and make it look as real and scale as possible - I wanna see that! I reckon you should add a load of scale accessories! Rob's bruiser only runs in RWD mode when in 3rd gear, is yours still 4WD in 3rd? When you buy it do you have to build it? and also does it come with the sound kit, and lights?

It comes as a kit so you have to build it, and the lights and sound kit are separate and not waterproof, to be completely honest with you if your looking to buy an rc that you can actually use outside without damaging it and want more performance I'd go for a trx4 or an axial scx 👍🏻

Google or eBay the name of the unit it's Tamiya MFU Multi-Function Control Unit MFC-02 I will warn you it's not cheap lol.
