Been playing this game a lot. I like the strategy of how to play the cards pre - flop. The one difference I have made is to min bet the ante and double or triple bet the trips. The advantage is in hold’em it’s much more likely you are going to get a flush or a straight and loose to the dealer. But the trips pays out big. I have a small casino I have been playing a lot and one of my friends is a dealer at another casino who helped develop the strategy.

I have always played blackjack, but this game looks pretty interesting. While I enjoy poker, I am usually hesitant to play with other players since some of them practically live in the poker room.

Playing with sharks is no fun. It’s also not any fun watching someone playing with their chips for 20 minutes while they overthink their hand, mentally running through the 2 million different combinations of hands, deciding to stay or fold.

Got hooked on UTH the first time I played in Louisiana. One of those 2a chasing losses kind of nights. No idea what I was doing at first but kept catching hands, including quads. Played a couple hours and left up $700.

why aren't the cards just dealt face up? I don't understand the point in having the player hold the cards and keep them private. they are only playing against the dealer, not the other players, so why does this matter, or is it just a quirk of the game?

@@patrickshepard3456 I think because it's a single deck game, if all the cards were face up players would have an advantage of knowing what sort of hands the dealer could make and betting accordingly. Not sure of the actual math involved but you know casinos will try to limit anything that might lower the house edge.

Also keep on mind that instead of hand shuffle. A dealer will hand shuffle and then throw the deck into a machine shuffler.

@@FabianPyka The hilarious part of this is that according to the creator of UTH they HAD to had the trips bet because people were playing this game so badly in the real world that the casinos were raking in well in excess of the expected house edge. They added the trips bonus to try and even things out to keep the gaming commission off their backs. Crazy huh? The video is up on youtube somewhere. I don't play trips for the reason you mentioned. But having seen how some ppl play I can understand why people like the bonuses.

The main tip/strategy is.. never play trips .. and don't press your bets so soon .. this is a grinding game.. not like one of those roulette strategy where you chamba in and out 😂 anyway nice video 👍

@@jrbailey8935 simply because when there happens to be a losing round for big money you may lose all your profits in a single round. sure you could win big as well but its highly unlikely so I would suggest keeping your bet the same at all times
