How much do you think he spent on all this?
@honeythebully2453 Жыл бұрын
@@jackjack4412 I wouldn’t like to guess 😅.. thousands just on the packout cases alone, then you start adding up all the power tools 🤯… he must be doing something right 👍

Ron Paul has really put a stamp on work trailers, and really took things to the next level. You did an excellent job on your trailer. Thanks for tipping Ron Paul and and giving him credit to his craftsmanship. I love his channel and dedication to the build of these style of trailers. Yours is excellent bro!

Minor point but Ron's last name is PAULK. Agree with your assessment on the trailer. It's awesome.

Beautify and well organized trailer. When I was a little kid builders would show up with a wooden toolbox with a couple of hand saws, a hammer, drill, chisels, plane, framing square, chalk line and a few smaller hand tools and build an entire house with pretty much just that. It's a different world!

I have a similar trailer set up, yet not as detailed as yours. September 19th of this year, some jacka$$ used a cordless grinder to cut the swing bar for the side door and stole about 90% of my DeWalt, Milwaukee, Mikita, and Flex tools. Due to an underwriting error, I was not covered by insurance. That thief cost me over $10k out of my own pocket. I would have been more devastated if I had your gorgeous set up when he cut that door. Loved the video!

Oh man. A crackhead thief would be in heaven if he got into this trailer.

I've been researching trailer build outs for ideas on how to layout my mobile workshop. Really like your attention to detail. I was looking through your videos for the deep dive video you mentioned in the beginning but wasn't able to find it. Hopefully you can get it uploaded at some point. Great job on the build and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Thank you for reviewing your tool trailer. Very thoughtful arrangement of shelves and a large assortment of tools, there is a work table and very good lighting. I noticed you don’t have a Makita tool at all, but I also know your red tool is of excellent quality. Excellent trailer.

Nice setup!! Very well organized and everything is easily accessible. One area for improvement might be to put solar panels on part of the roof so you can charge the deep cycle batteries and not have to worry about plugging into mains electric. However, you are using the roof to store ladders so, I don't know how practical that would be.

I have zero uses that I can think of for cool ass sliding shelves that hide shift behind them. This does not seem to change how badly I want them in my trailer though 🤣 You're like the Batman of home repairs

Nice setup!! I tried going that route with my 7x14, but found it too hard to find parking spots in neighborhoods. Good for rural areas! Bought a 7.3 excursion and built a 4' x5' box 18" high with two heavy duty full extension drawers and loaded packout drawer boxes etc. in them and added quick release packout brackets on top of box to load additional boxes as needed for particular phase of job. can stack 4x8 sheets of plywood or drywall as needed for smaller jobs if dont feel like hauling dump trailer. The second row seat folds flat for tablesaw, mitersaw etc. and even added a couple more packout brackets on back of box for additional storage!! Couldnt wrap my head around driving a van!!🤣🤣 When its time to go camping I just unload the packouts and excellent storage for camping gear!!😁

Use some sort of hard wax that will help you with them drawers. We use to have old kitchen cabinets with the same crappy wood on wood sliders and waxing them really helped.

Put some low friction tape UHMW tape so your drawers run freely. Do both sides so only the UHMW tape is contacting

Please be careful with where you leave that trailer. A thief or thieves will work harder than you do in a week to steal that trailer. Since you have 12 volt batteries inside you could install an auto type alarm system that will guard the doors from opening and even trigger if the trailer is moved much. A very loud siren on the center of the roof will deter most crooks. When you go to the building supply those drunks driving rusty trucks will follow you as if you were dropping crack cocaine. I knew a guy that was forced out of business because he lost his trailer and everything in it. His insurance would not cover it. Great trailer! Good luck!

Lol Looks great... Would love to display all my tools too, but I would rather be functional. By that I mean when we work on jobs it is not efficient to be grabbing tools one at a time. I find it much more productive to use rolling packout towers and literally load into jobs. With that said I do like your pride in your trailer!!

Love your setup! I have an 8.5’x18 that is decked out like Ron Paulk also. My question is do you leave on job or take home every night. I haul mine home cause It only takes a thief about a minute to cut through whatever you put on as far as locks. And I have way too many tools to let them have them.
