Thanks for this video guys, I just used it as a guide for my install. Same location, same lights, but I went with a switch in the lower left dash. I was able to tuck the wires into the same hole that the plastic pin goes through and everything seated fine. Gave it a nice clean factory look.

If you actually look at the link of the light kit And where they are mounted They screw right in at a lower angle giving more light on the engine bay And less in you're eyes ..But other than that the install looked spot on. On my Blazer last year i insalled a Mini LED fog light which swivels up And down Then got to thinking Someone out there would make a fortune Making a high heat resistant rechargeable adjustable LED lamp with a base fixed to the hood But you can remove the lamp with a push unlock

Hello, the video is very interesting, but where does it turn on and off with a switch?

Trevor wired it to his sPOD because it was easy. You can also wire it to a pressure switch.

Some advice for those clips. Those are actually pretty easy to remove and install if you know how they actually work. To remove them. Use a screwdriver and with very light pressure, screw the inside piece out. Sometimes the outside piece will want to spin as well. Just hold it with a finger. With the inner screw out, the outer clip will easily pop out. Normally the clip tool is not even needed. To install. First install the outer part of the clip. Then the inner, screw, part you can just press it in with your thumb.

If you need to disconnect the battery’s negative you would lose the lights, correct? Anyway to work around that with your setup?

Hey cool setup. Question - the lights are angled forward because the hood is tilted up around 45 degrees - does that cause them to shine in your eyes when you are working around the truck? I really like the idea but wonder if you were doing work under your truck for any length of time if it would become a distraction? Thanks!

The beam pattern is actually very wide so it isn’t bad at all. They do illuminate the area in front as well. Trevor and I actually use those lights to shoot video at night. It is great Light wide and bright.

What is that little box next to the spod circuit box? I have that same plate with the spod and was wondering what the extra space on the plate was for?

Personally, really dislike KZbin allowing "premiering" of videos in advance. I guess it makes sense on some big videos like a cool mini series as you've done but on a simple install video, I don't get "premiering" it days in advance. With that said though, enjoy the videos overall and still wish you would offer those shirts

Thank you very much and I know the premiering is weird but I’m hoping it gets people excited about the videos. Thanks for watching and still looking into the shirt stuff.

would have been quicker just to remove the clips and let the heat shield fall dow a little

I don’t know. It’s under the hood and works great.
