Yeah, it's easy to remember how to engage at closer ranges with a sword without being reminded. This ruling also applies to other weapons, helps so much, and builds good habits. Its hard to admit sometimes that your aim can't win the fight and that a good player makes good opportunities for themselves and their team

So true, aim is a great quality however it doesn’t make or break a great player. Found that out the hard way in Apex Legends and it’s no different in this game as well.

still one of the most fun weapons in the game. i think if it had like 5m more range before damage drop off it would really elevate this weapon

I agree, it’s kind of weird that the XP54 is allowed to skate by with very little fall off and relatively great hip fire while the V9S gets its range cut. Hopefully we get some changes in the next season.

I main this gun. very good advice, I agree with all of it. I think an unseen advantage of this gun is its so small and quiet and reloads in no time. because of that Its very hard to read in a fast 1v1. I run frag instead of gateway only because I'm to lazy to figure out how to use gateway effectively. glitch grenade is amazing against heavy shields and healy bois. Stun is braindead, i don't use it. I hope its removed, but either way i'd rather have my v9 up.

Yea it took a bit to get use to the gateway, but after getting use to it the maneuverability you get is nuts. As for stun, I can acknowledge how strong it is however coming from Apex Legends, I don't think CC effects belong in any fast paced movement shooter. It just does not compliment the flow of the game. Seeing heavies shit the bed though, when glitched out of a shield is so SO satisfying. lol

I have an issue where i click slower with it as I shoot because I'm more focused on the tactical side. that's why i coded an auto clicker so it was automatic LOL (i dont cheat and use it anymore, im a dagger main :) )

I don't judge, just as long as your not using aimbot lol. I totally get what your saying though. The V9S translates a players stress level accurately when shot, the more stressed the player is the more they tend to spam the left click as fast as possible. This really hurts tracking because of the excess pressure applied on the front end of the mouse making it really hard for your wrist to micro adjust. Maintaining a consistent pace is by far the hardest hurdle to overcome with it.

I have a question for everyone who plays on the PS5. Do you have problems with the gun? It jams sometimes and you can't shoot. I can shoot 5-10 bullets at once, then the gun stops for a few seconds.
