13:19 - glad Vinny mentioned this. In the infamous Self-Destruction of Ultimate Warrior DVD, iirc, Bobby Heenan talked about Warrior getting on Andre's bad side because he was hitting Andre too hard with the clotheslines that set up the spot on the ropes. In one of the matches they had, Andre stuck out his fist and Warrior ran into it, knocking himself silly for a bit. In the next match they had, Warrior's clothesline was slow and gentle. It would not surprise me if they were somehow not cooperating in the match that they're talking about here.

I remember warrior vs andre in Fresno and warrior literally ran in, clotheslines Andre, pinned him and ran back to the dressing room. It was so fast I didnt ever see warrior!

On an episode of Superstars,, Warrior attacked Rude when he was trying to give the "Rude Awakening" to a lady. To stop that from happening, The Brain decided to have Andre The Giant protect Rude when he was the IC Champ (before SS 89') when Rude would do the "Rude Awakening" do the ladies. It was to help set up a long time fued with Andre but the Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD told us Andre didn't want to fued with him for long.

I've seen this match as well back in the days and you can see the pain in Andre's face. He could barely move in that ring and for him to go through that pain to put Warrior over is respect for Andre on his part, but behind the scenes, Andre couldn't stand Warrior.

It was the Ultimate Warrior vs. a near the end of his career (life, even) hurting and barely mobile Andre the Giant. What did you expect?!?! This wasn't half as bad as it could have been. Vinny, the close-up of Andre was when they came back from a commercial break. I've been watching pro wrestling for 35 years. Maybe it's the kid inside me, but I'd take this match over some of the crap on Raw and AEW today any day of the week.
