If I'm being honest, when I first saw rebels and the inquisitors lightsabers, I hated the design. It looks like it was made purely as a gimmick to sell toys. But after I played Jedi: Fallen Order, I absolutely love this saber.

Luke the “plastic cones” are most likely hollow, get to close to a table and the tube snaps like a twig

Similar thoughts about regular shaped black blades instead of ripper blades. I did think that a little bit of black tape, and a spinning pixel emitter could let light shine through.

The hilt most likely won't have a motorized ring opener/extender because of 2 issues: 1) where to put the motor(s) and 2, how to make it work without causing the user to get injured. (ie, sue TPS). I have this and simply enjoy it, even with the limitations UW had to compensate for.

After just watching Obi-Wan Kenobi (I just got Disney+, so I haven't seen Rebels), I LOVE those Inquisitor lightsabers. And that helicopter trick... can you imagine if we had gotten these when "The Phantom Menace" came out and Darth Maul had done something like that?

Is the wielding of it unruly because of the awkward angle of the circle blade/portion? It just doesn't look like it would be comfortable for dual wielding? Let alone Single blade wielding? Can we talk about the grip/handle real quick? You said it's big/bulky or awkward, the grip that is? And it generally looks awkward to spin for example. And on that note all the other inquisitor/second sister variant sabers online look like they have a better "handle" on the structure of the grip.😒😅 I will say the second sisters/inquisitors sabers are my favorite style hands down. Thanks for reviewing! I will definitely definitely be watching for updates on the model. Not to mention I will be watching your mod production/evolution. Very exciting. Can not wait to jois the community. Fun fact I will eventually be joining the ranks. Of the rebellion as a custom original story Jedi. Because the center isn't as bright as the blades when you spin it around your body it almost looks as if the center is spinning

There's something funky about the transitions between different swings. It's not as smooth sounding as cfx for example. It is a beautiful hilt though.

Definitely think it would make it soo much more expensive if it had all the swing out functions. For one, just opening up the taco looks to take some force, which is good, you don't want it flopping around If that is mechanized, you would need to weaken that part somewhat, there will be space to jiggle, it would be fragile. Second, if you want the blades to rotate, problem 1, where to put the soundboard and LEDs? Simply no space, the saber would have to look different from the series, second, all those gears and mechanism will be bulky, and you would need a rotor or engine to mechanically power the spin, making the saber much heavier. Put both together, you get something that will look very different from the original design, and will be very heavy and expensive. We don't really have the tech to make it easily right now, so this is what we got.

i mean if there is space just put some servos that have some sort of blade lock on them for the guard rotation, and for the spinning of the blades themselves, just make it so that the guard is the spinning part and use a small buss bar to power the blades. The blade spin design I thought of (if done correctly) shouldn't add too much to the cost, however i do not own one of these so i don't know how much extra space is in the hilt and thus i dont know what is actually feasable

Hey Sir James I know this is an old video so idk if you’ll see this but I bought this same exact saber, but when I plug the charging cord into the port there is no light or sound to let me know that it’s actually charging, is this a problem? The electronics work fine but I just can’t tell if it’s charging unlike other custom sabers. Thanks!

Hello, thank you for detailed video. I have liked and subscribed. Recently got UL SS saber for my son. I had a couple questions. How to tell if it is charging? I see no light indication. Next after removing dust plugs from both sides to install blades, do u want a little play or have it tight to battery contact before tightening down grub screws? Thanks any input is appreciated.
