Ultimate Wurkkos Headlamp Comparison! HD15, HD20 and HD50

took my 18350 HD15R as my main light when i backpacked EU. What a champion of a light. Used it everyday. Didn't headlamp it much, clipping to clothing/slingbag was good enough for minimal urban carry Used it mainly indoors, low red never woke anyone in hostel dorms. Got dark quick approaching winter and this was a powerhouse on dark walks/bike/scooter rides. The red didn't attract mozzies on hikes. Red also added nice ambience to any room/photo. Powerbank feature saved people's phones all the time. Fun little light, always added to my experience.

Wow, you got by pretty well with the 18350 cell. I'd get battery anxiety haha. Need that 18650. The red light is one of my fav functions - I probably use it the most at night unless on longer rides.

I have the HD15 and HD20. The HD20 is my camping headlamp of choice. The odd thing is is looks like the ridges on either side of the head cater for a light filter (just like the red, white and green filters for the Manker E03 II) but I'm yet to see any info about that.

Interesting, I don't think there's additional assessories for the HD20...

Better IMO, ease of use, regulated output. Only thing is it will have reduced battery capacity to 21700 lights.

Wurkkos HD50 pocket clip? Hello, please, which pocket clip is suitable for the Wurkkos HD50? What is the diameter of the flashlight where it attaches to the strap holder?

I don't have it with me now so not sure about the diameter. But any 21700 pocket clip from Sofirn/Wurkkos will fit.

Just received a HD20 direct from Wurkkos. It shipped with an 18650 even though I specifically paid extra for a 21700. I tried one of my 21700’s and the light didn't work. Buyer beware!!!

Does it work with other 21700s? Contact Wurkkos again and get a refund/replacement.

I really wish someone had done a lumen test to verify that wurkos wasn't lying, but I can't find a single test for people verify the lumens

Most of these lights have a FET driver and the battery that it comes with has higher internal resistance. So I've found I've needed to use another cell like the Samsung 30T to boost the output to or near spec. Sometimes a spring bypass. Still a good deal for the price though.

There are several reviews, of every flashlight out there. That show graphs with lumen testers, and runtime. You just have to look around. If you use a better battery. It also helps.

I dont like the HD20 too much because its heavy, weight is the only problem with it. I should have bought the HD 15.

Yeah 21700 cell headlamps are a bit much for me too. I tend to use AA or 18650 format.

thanks for sharing brother i need to buy a new headlamp since the one i had the TRUST fire MC18 wasnt water proof like i thought it was lol so yeah thats was a waist of money but owel i needed a better headlamp anyways so yeah thanks again brother for sharing ill se you in the next one

These Wurkkos ones are great value but they have FET drivers.

ALSO NOT sure where you live at in AU but theres a great chef who is popular over there somewhere and he is a famous chef so yeah MR WONG or something like that lol but yeah i was just wondering if you ever eat at that place or before or not and you should check it out when you get a chance i think its called MR wong or something like that lol yeah look him up its over in the AU so who knows you might like it lol MR.
