So either people have used the term industry plant so much that it lost it's meaning or that chatter that called Terrifier an industry plant is re***ded because Terrifier movies are independent made films. The director got his start making short films back in 2012 when he made the 9th circle and the terrifier short film, both which were the debuts of art the clown. Then 2013 he made his debut film "all Hallows Eve" a anthology story that contains both those short films. Mainly because he centered it on the art the clown character. In 2016 he made the first Terrifier movie, he had crowdfunded it and it was released to only a few theaters. It made a good bit of money so he increased the budget and was able to put Terrifier 2 out in all theaters and it became incredibly popular to the point that studios were trying to make him a deal for the 3rd movie but he kept it independent because he said the studios were telling him he'd have to change stuff and tone it down and he didn't wanna do that because he knows the terrifier movies have a reputation. He says he always likes having at least 1 truly line pushing disgusting scene in the terrifier movies and how he likes to out do himself with each movie. Also, the chatter that said the terrifier movies don't even have a story is an idiot also. All 3 terrifier movies connect with each other. The director said he started focusing more on story in the 2nd movie because he regretted the lack of story in the 1st one.
