Hi Darrel, I am still watching your video. You are selecting many different segmentations. How do you know which one is working better than the other? You would want to scale up performing ads. Here is where you split test several ads to see which creatives, targeting and videos (in market videos are performing better. I like that you went through the entire setup.

i can see which one is working better by the subs driven, conversion rates, and CTR. I feel like in market ads are a bit more direct and easier to target your target audience

Hi Darrel. Really helpful video. I have one question - can I create an in display ad without a video? I'm promoting a self-published popular science book, and want to target viewers of specific channels and videos, because I can closely target people with an interest in a specific subject area. But I don't want to make a video about the book, and then have to direct users to Amazon to buy it after. The ad would be more effective it if was just an image, 300 x 60 with a CTA to find out more, that goes directly to where the book is on sale. Can I do that?

@@darrelwilson Thanks for your help. Are there minimum targeting fields required for an ad to run? I started the campaign 2 weeks ago and still have zero impressions. I'm trying to run in display ads, not a video, with a CTA. For targeting I've added "Demographics" and set these really broad. I've added "Placements" and listed 25 videos and channels whose viewers I think are most likely to be interested in my book. I don't really want to add keywords, audiences, topics, because they would narrow the potential viewership too much. Nothing on the dashboard reports any issues. But I'm wondering if I've got enough in targeting for the ad to run at all. BTW I've also tried pushing the CPA up to £3.00 for a couple of days, just to see if I can get one impression, but nothing.
