I was born on a hill in Kentucky. My grandparents had a tin roof and I remember many, many delicious evenings when we would drift off to sleep listening to the patter of the rain drops. It still relaxes me and makes me sleepy.

Same...s.w. va girl here. I grew up and moved in my grandparents farmhouse with my husband. It had a big front porch with tin on it as did the entire roof. We had a door that lead out to the porch from our bedroom downstairs. We would leave that door open during thunderstorms and sleep like BABIES!!!!!!! We lived in a holler of nothing but family....so we felt safe, and back then...WE WERE!!!! Awesome Times, Awesome Memories....❤❤💯🌩🌧⛈☈☇⛆

We lost the farm when I was six. I’m 71 now. No place to live, but some man let our family make our nest in his tobacco barn for free. It had a tin roof, an old abandoned city bus and a tire swing in the one dead tree behind it. I still remember the sound of that rain. Absolute luxury!

I used to live in a house with the roof is tin an everyday and night rain would fall and it feels so cozy but since we moved out to a concrete roof house in a different part of the country, no rain falls unless like if storm on the way or only 3 days a year

The occasional pecan falling on the tin roof during a storm helped me not be gun shy at a early age.. I'm gratefull for all the memories growing up that seemed insignificant at the time but now is priceless while reminiscing over all the story telling going on that were about 50% lies being told at my grandmother's home place where she an her 12 brothers an 1 sister all grew up an always come together when a major storm was coming... The integrity that old house had was mind blowing bc after the storm was over an you could see all the other houses were damaged while the old house seemed invencable not even having a scratch.. Thank you for this masterpiece that has my interself jumping with joy and a peace that I hope all who listens too experience....

I was living in village house in Asia during 70 to early 80. When it rained, it was noisy as the raindrops hit the zinc roof. Also, 'rivers' would appear in our kitchen as there were leaks somewhere. We would fall as we children had not learned to walk on the slippery watery cement floor. We r now staying in high rise flat or apartment, most of the time we did not even know that it rains until we come downstairs to go somewhere or to do something. Really miss the sound of raindrops on zinc roof.

I am so tired. I have been lostening to this beautiful sound for almost three hours now begging my body to fall asleep but something just isnt working. So, instead ill tell all of the readers here about an idea i had. It is a type of hotel or motel, but not the kind you stay at yo visit a city or anything, but to get away from people. Each "room" is designed to look and sound like a space ship, like your in space doing. . . What ever. Flying, shooting, running cargo. . . Space stuff. But you live on that ship, alone for as many days as you like. But with multiple sizes. So a small craft ment for 1 to 2 people, very intiment spaces. For people who want to feel like lone wolves, or couples who want to really feel like theynare alone. A small frigate for about 2 to 5. People who want to take a weekend and role play ship life maybe making a cargo run or two, but living a few days as a space fairer with a crew. And maybe a big chungus thing that is ment for about thirty people or more that is an entire ship, people running and spending their lives on a destroyer class ship. Main weapon ports and all. Able to add and remove crew with ease st each "port". A constant living ship. I kinda know how i vould do the smaller vessels. A few moniters hooked up in the right places, noise genorators in the engin, makign the entire beast hum with power throught piping. That perfect rest of knowing your a million miles for any where where you need to do anything important. Saying goodbye to all that stress you left on earth. None of that for space. You have one job and one job only, get to the next port, and thats already programmed into the primary computer. You can rest easy knowing that your doing exactly what your suppose to by taking a break and relaxing. I love this idea. It seems so beautiful and very comforring to me. What do you all think?

I am here in the endeavour of drowning the sound from my next door neighbour and her carers , who talk listen to lots music and literally party into the early hours of the morning. Thanks to this channel and others alike that help us try mask the really loud noise from my antisocial neighbours and her very noisy nuisance carers.
