GIMMY was an automatic out...he has regressed offensively the last 2 years and only hits singles...Can't believe we found a team to take on that HORRIBLE CONTRACT!!!! Plus on top of it to get a legit #3 starting pitcher and 2 lefty lottery pitching tickets...The Guards KNOW pitching! GREAT MOVE!!!

Gleyber hitting 10 batting average points above Gimenez - if you need power it’s not 2nd base, besides, Gleyber had only 7 more HR than Gimenez this year. Those 7 HR are not worth literally the best defensive 2nd baseman in the league!!! Ozzie smith was career .262 hitter- but made the hall of fame! When we don’t have elite pitching, we need a defensive that will help them - Gimenez was that 1st baseman and DH need to pull their weight offensively,
