It probably would have been like this if they had more time to complete the game as they had planned it. I hope that this fan game gets completed to what the creator's want. It would also be great to see a version of this game put on a Super Nintendo cartridge as well. It would most likely have to be scaled back due to hardware limitations but if it was done right, I think of us Double Dragon fans would purchase it. The ones who hold the rights to Double Dragon really should collaberate with Herrera and I bet everyone would be happy in the end. Lets make Return of / Super Double Double Dragon: Director's Cut happen!

In order of appearance... Dark Forest Green Ford Blue Japanese Red Charcoal (Yours) Steel I think only you and me know what I'm talking about here and I just wanted to say thank you for your support and approval of this. There will be more coming soon! (for the enemies I mean) Oh and I like the new colors you and your brother have come up with for Roper and Williams. Now for the mission. It definitely looks epic so far. The caverns stage (1st section) is dripping with atmosphere. The flying bats, The druid rowing his boat in the distance, and that spot light that follows you around everywhere you go. It reminds me of the haunted house mansion levels in Super Mario World where that was the only light that helped you see and protected you from the boos. The next section with all the red brick and chains and candles is a nice change of scenery. I'm sure its inspired by Castlevania to some extent but to me it reminds me of BT&DD a little bit with its familiar placement of doors and windows. I wonder if anyone is going to start throwing bombs at us through the windows lol! The sky elevators looks unbelievably well animated. All the new drop in animations you've given the enemys looks incredible from Linda and Williams holding onto a wall and then jumping down, to the Bakers front flipping in. Not to mention Gunguy showing up on the leg of a chopper with a machine gun hahaha! Thats pretty badass. Those spiked rocks look pretty mean. I feel like I've seen them somewhere before but can't remember. The new final stretch stage looks awesome! It looks like a blend of "The Tower" and "The Portal" stages Mortal Kombat 2 but with that nice Shinobi night skyies and moon as our background. I like the spikes on the ground.I think I could use them to my advantage. Its like a "timed launcher", which is something that I have already experimented with something else that does the same thing heh heh. :) Dukes inner sanctum looks just as wicked as it did in LOTDD! I'm looking forward to fighting Duke in it as well as learning what other cool things make the room special. It also looks really familiar but I can't remember where certain parts of it come from. Please tell me if you don't mind. 2:54 Aww shit... I thought Gunguy was bad with his handgun, Now I'm really scared at what Jeff is gonna be like with it. I'm definitely looking forward to Jeff and his weapons!

Guys, download this game. The atmosphere of those years has been beautifully depicted and this game is much more complex. What an amazing surprise is that some ideas were borrowed from one game with Bruce Lee. I love it, I just miss the option to play multi, coop with a friend. Really i recommend it, play it asap and if you got some dollars, please donate to this guy :)

Can't wait to play the upcoming version of the game, but I found some holdovers (and a glitch) from the old Legend of Double Dragon builds when I was playing the current public version and it was by accident. I accidentally performed the super moves (360°+Style 1 or 2 -> Punch/Kick -> Punch/Kick ), and experimented a bit with Jimmy's version (360°+S1 (I think) -> Punch -> Punch), which strangely enough, when done correctly, all of the onscreen enemies were killed and the stage clear music started playing but I still have to finish the stage.

Oh! I forgot to compliment your bro's awesome remix. From what I heard, I think he mixed the DD2 Title Screen track, The SDD (US) Duke's Lair and possibly another song into one. It was incredible. Is this part a section of another song or is something Pat improvised? (1:04 - 1:21) That second song sounds like something Krauser might have made... :)

That's the game title screen music, and it's a mixture of DD2 and SDD. The other track was made by krauser of course, but it is from another route.

I got to read it, and seems that YT is banning bad language. Anyways, you are wrong, Linda has the same amount of health than any other regular bad guys in this game, and about Marian, how can you say that if you haven't seen the revamped storyline UDD will have?

@@mauherrera8939 I grouped the enemies together and attacked them all at once. Linda always dies first. I'm sorry that I took out my frustration on you, but I did chat with Ogata about female characters. This is basically his worldview which prevents him from having a female boss enemy the size of Abobo or one that can perform a grab attack on the player. I do find it insulting for Ogata to have Marian as a police officer knowing that her fate is being kidnapped because a former friend wanted to get back at the Double Dragons. Her martial arts boyfriend has to save her because apparently she's useless as law enforcement.
