Hi Andrew what I've been doing is just take the tablet out when they play in the pool, then back in after use. We didn't wait in between. It seems to dissolve fast so that way we have had no issue at all.

Hi Tharr, i would love to help you with this. But to be honest i am not a chemical specialist.. These numbers don't really make sense to me. I use 1 tablet of 3 inches a week in a floater that dissolves the tablet gradually.

Hi! Well some people seem to use vinegar for that purpose but it is generally not recommended as there will be side effects that will deteriorate the quality of your pool water. It would then be better to use the hydrochloric acid. I can't recommend other effective methods as I haven't tried them.. I hope that answers the question a little at least..

Hi! Start with the chlorine straight away. It's a good idea to always have some chlorine slowly dissolving, when the tablet s finished, get the next one in. You can adjust the dissolving rate in the floater that's meant for this. No need to wait till after. But I do remove the floater when the kids are in so they are never exposed to a high concentration of it. I hope that helps!

I have a Bestway Flow clear 1500 GPH filter it will not stay own longer than 3 minutes. I have reset it several time. Is there a way to stop this or just buy a new one. I was hoping there maybe a fuse or something like that in it. Also after watching your video I see I only need to leave the pump on for 2-3 hours per day. I have a 16x10x48 above the ground pool.

Hi! I have not had the issue myself where the pump just stops running after some time. One cause I can think of is a clogged filter.. Have you been able to check it?

Hi Amr! It all depends on your circumstances but generally a few hours a day is enough. Start with 4 and then adjust if you think the pool is already clean, or not clean enough! You definitely don't need to run it full time, although the pump can handle it if you want to!

Hi! Well if you do manage to stay on top of the maintenance, you don't have to change the water at all. What could happen is that some larger sand particles end up on the bottom of the pool, that can't be sucked out by the filter pump. That's what happened to me anyway. It could be easier to empty it in that case and clean manually. I've done that once after being away for a few weeks....

Hi, that normally happens with some algae growth. Best to use a bit more chlorine, and to also scrub of the slippery stuff, if the chlorine level is right, it shouldn't come back!

Hi there, we try to run the pump every night, even if we did'nt use it. We have used the cartridge for about a month, hope this helps :-)

@@3November953am normally it's enough to run it a few hours per day and overnight is not necessary. That's if the pool has light use and your happy with how clean it is. 👍 Hope that helps!

An alternative is to have a salt water pool. This can also keep the water healthy. But I haven't tried that before so you would need to do some research how to do that. Hope that helps!

Dirt and bacteria are way more dangerous than chlorine. Salt water is not recommended in vinyl pools.

They seem to be fairly expensive Bestway sells them for 12$ a pack of 8 pieces and 3mm thickness, however, I need 9 packs for the pool I’m getting which is 4m * 4m. You should put 1 chlorine tablet in a floater, and leave it inside unless you are swimming.

@@maxwax1000 Hi! sorry for the later reply, but for anyone else still looking, you can add the cholrine straight away, and use a floating dispenser like in the video. Then you don't have to wait for swimming. Enjoy!!
