There's a snooker player Martin Gould who does it, in my experience the glasses tend for some to temporarily improve the eyes back into focus just long enough to be able to freely focus without the glasses..

The equipment is the same…table ..cues and balls 🤷🏼‍♂️

Compared to English 8 ball, the balls are larger and heavier, the cues have wider tips and the pockets are cut differently.

@gozitan5 Incorrect. English 8 ball is played with a 2" balls and apx a 1 7/8' cue balll while American pool is played with a 2 1/4" cue ball as well as object balls. Big weight and size difference! Also, the pockets r cut dramatically tighter and at different angles than an American bar box.

@@gozitan5 They play way differently. Earl said the balls in the UK r like hitting cork balls....lol
