I had written off and ignored Alva as “complex and weird” ever since I started this game back in 2019 and your earlier video convinced me to try it. fun fact: you can make a second account and run it at the same time and slap that character afk inside your ultimatums (assuming you make them tanky enough) and get double the rewards. you could technically do it with 5 alternate accounts but the issue with that is to stay within the ToS you are limited to running 2 accounts max at one time so you would have to have 2 spare PCs to run it or 2 laptops EDIT: aaaaaand its been hotfixed

You can swap the catalyst scarab, for the one that turns all catalyst drops into Inscribed Ultimatum, you will make a shit ton of currency from them, it's more of an rng, but getting divines from inscibed ultimatums is actually quite common. I've made hundreds of divines this league this way and still have about 10d worth of inscribed ultimatums that give out 10 or 20 chaos as reward and take 30sec to 1min to run.

I'd recommend doing the 8 mod map drop scarab and dropping 1 bribing and optimizing to always get 200%+ quant on every map. Eater altars don't seem to affect the amount of catalysts dropped so that doesn't come into play. It's just more consistent stack size return compared to 2 bribing in my experience.

i discovered Ultimatum this league and it became my fav strat since it was one of the most profitable ones AND it's made for doing in group since everyone get his own rewards and on top of it, everyone gets catalysts!! that's insane (if you have friends though...) yes, you need a tanky or a strong build - mine was RF for quite some time until i switched to autobomber chieftain, now it's basically standing afk in the middle, no matter the mod (except ruin, keep away from those!) as it was stated in the vid: don't underestimate fire skulls and thunder circles! even with 90% maximum res it still hits hard... and on top of it all: if you have a really (!) strong (and tanky) build, you can do the inscribed ultimatums with 8 div profit!

Buddy and I did about 20 of these and vendor reciped bad catalysts into good ones (fertile, prismatic). They sold fast and each of us made 1.3 div per map just in catalysts. I do think inscribed version is twice as good if you can do 99% of them yourself though.

If theres anyone out there doing the standard ultimatum farmer CWS build you could drop the altar node and pick the survival, the altar mod sometimes fails when the enemy focuses on altars instead of you. The boss is always worth it, scarab is so cheap and you can get mahuxotl which sells quick. Never pick ruin. The only mod you can't run is ruin. Selling catalyst is easy, you can pick up a cheap 33% defiance and use your life catalyst and you can sell 39% defiance for a lot more. Same with buying a good ventor's, you can use resist catalyst and sell it for more.

i did ultimatus on RF chieftain CWS with fulcrum and never my altar even reached half HP, just stand in the altar, they will attack you.

@@keldon1137 Yeah cause rf doesnt need cws to kill tons of ultimatum mobs. Its just sometimes if you only play CWS sabo or PF they don't attack you and instead attack the altar or you could be afk and the rare mob knocks you far from middle and when you looked back the altar died.

A few things from someone who did quite a few ultimatums The catalyst+inscribed scarab version ( instead of dueling) is also pretty viable. Many of the incribed onces are 1:5 material and all without mob life are utterly useless. But there are also a ton to double divines and you can sell all 120 and 200% onces for quite a sum to some gamblers. I prefer this to catalyst as they are ass to sell in bulk. This strategy also works for the 13 round keystone if you have builds strong enough. This pushed way above the trailmaster version but is also harder. One of the green dot clouds is actually not exclusively chaos dmg, the other ones are. That can be quite confusing for CI builds. Aegis builds can block the lightning mana spend trait. Thats then basically an upside if you recover more. The rewards count as 2 waves later scarabs are ok for catalyst but shine with the inscribed scarab. But they are a bit stupid with the 13 wave keystone. However it does not really change the % mob life distribution of the inscribed ultimatus. The dueling scarab is cheap atm but mifht not be worth it if he gets expensive. I got a shield in roughly 20-30 maps ( more like 20 this league - maybe thanks to the Scarabs) but in around 500 maps I messured I only got 2 hate forge.

@@AshDragonnn I don't know what build can do it on a reasonable budget but anyone who can run a normal T17 can do 10 waves and/or trailmaster reliable in T16. If I had to name one it would be Ben's hardcore T17 Farmer Version of the Blade Blast of Unleashing build. I run a Armourstacker in standard so it's not comparable, although the fire res overcap versions also could do them in league. 13 waves are a completely different story, mostly because you can't choose the debuffs. A checklist you want at least some things of: - High regen/leech/recovery. There are a lot of dots and small hits you can't avoid - Reasonable fast flamedash/leap slam because of the ruin dudes - Bleed immunity would be good. And so is corrupted blood. - You need AoE more than single target. - Crit additional damage immunity is good because the crit trait is pretty strong on mobs.

If catalysts had a better market, would definitely consider this strat. But like, the thought of having to sell hundreds of catalysts to people that wanna buy like 20 per trade is awful. Too much chaos and I'd have to convert it into divs. Would rather just 5:1 inscribeds and take the chance, if anything but the shield was worth anything from the trialmaster too, would definitely help

I use a cast when stunned DD build, it's basically immortal even without progenesis and mageblood. I just need to stand still in the middle so i always take all the damage mods and the smaller arena is even a buff for this build XD. just don't take ruin or evasive monster + blocking because the mobs become immortal: they suppress damage and have 50%chance of blocking spell damage...

Regarding the stone circles/timed, I'd imagine it would probably still be worth running just the first wave, since it still gives (effectively) 6 waves worth of loot with scarabs+tree combined and THEN bail (having hopefully at least made back the price of the scarabs in 10-20 seconds or so on the single wave)

That's not how Ultimatum rewards work. You always get one reward per round (with a 25% chance of being duplicated with the Prove Yourself Worthy atlas node). But each round has a better chance of giving you a more valuable reward than the one before. If you run an Ultimatum without scarabs/Stand Your Ground atlas node, the round rewards will be 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10, where 1 is the least chance for a reward to be valuable and 10 is the most chance for it to be valuable. Now, if you add one scarab of bribing which grants rewards "as though you completed 2 additional rounds", the round rewards become 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 10 10, and two scarabs of bribing and Stand Your Ground atlas node would make the Ultimatum round rewards 6 7 8 9 10 10 10 10 10 10. So it is never worth completing just one round, you really want to push as far as possible to get the best rewards for the time spent.

I know i said it on a diffrent video and you responded its fine but i can't help myself. The Voice audio is cracked. I don't know how to describe it in propper english but for me its sounds like you don't use a muffler. Its specialy the words with hard air pushed against the microfon. Like the word beginns normal and then breaks out. listen maybe abit louder to these words " worst case scenario" at 4:10 to 4:13 I only encounter this issue at your videos. Maybe it has something todo with the render quality.

I did not feel like ultimatum gave me 20div per hour at all. This is an average league mechanic which gives about 5-10 div per hour for normal players if you count selling the junk. Ultimatum was a real letdown and this video felt a little clickbaity. If you progress far it is a little rippy depending on build. Selling the catalysts is a mess. One of the scarabs fluctuates a lot in price and availability. Most of the catalysts just dont sell. It's really only the expensive 2-3 catalysts that sell at all which causes a high variance in payout. Farming strategies that only give you like 10 divines per hour means you have to spend more than an entire work week to farm the first mageblood. This completely invalidates the farmingstrategy as a way to progress through the league and shoot through the economy. Trading and crafting is earning me hundreds of divines per hour and that is really what frustrates me about this game. Playing is not just VASTLY inferior to trading and crafting, it is just a waste of time. So play what you like instead, earn the 5-10 rationed divines per hour as a side story and then craft or trade to make your first mirror bow, mageblood, progenesis and similar. Spending 200 hours of artistic farming the expensive items really isnt fun. Do it fast and then play the fun content instead. It is a much more enjoyable way to play the game.

iv farmed for 3 days the inscribed only prize version(1x catalysing/1x inscription/2x bribing). 1200d with luck : 1 mageblood, 1 mirror rare items and divines chaos etc. Pay attention when ur selling to vendor the inscribeds. some inscribed has on the last line " increased max life : 30%,60%, 120%,200%" always sell the same life type 5x for 1 new inscribed. srry for the bad english. good strat but u L a lot of time doing inscribed but for new players or bad strat players like me is good on long term.

tried this with converting it into all into currency inscribed was average 3-4 divines in inscribed per map with a test of 50 maps. Seems really good until I went to do the inscribes and failed and 8 divine dup and a 4 back to back then had 4 8 div ones that I just didn't believe I could run so it went from feeling great to feeling horrible.

I mean I get what you mean but there are plenty of strategies that can make good money without touching such hard content. And with Mageblood beeing dirt cheap and the fact that there are so many good graveyard rares it doesn't take to long to farm up a build that can do T17 easily. Idk your build but stuff like T6 Essences rushing or maven witness boss rushing (with destructive play and the unique map dropping scarab) can earn money pretty easily. I did it with Conq/elder maps as these aren't expensive anymore. There also allways anything with blight. Any build can even do blight ravaged maps if you use the right anoints and towers. Each of these strategies can easily give 8-12+ div per hour

I really hate the new Ultimatum scarabs, they take all of the unique things about ultimatum (The Boss, Catalysts and Inscribed Ultimatums) and make them 100% guaranteed. Resulting in all of the boss uniques and catalysts being significantly cheaper than normal. Resulting in a worse outcome for anyone not using those expensive scarabs. The boss is the worst one in my eyes, it's supposed to be something you fight rarely and are guaranteed a decent reward (Catalysts) and a chance at hitting some big uniques, like Hateforge, which usually go for 50-75D. Except in this league they are 1.5D

The entire point of all of the scarabs is to force you to actually use them. The difference, on every league mechanic, between using them vs not using them, is like 10-20x difference in profitability, to the point where it’s effectively forced.

MF doesn't. Quant altars are good, as they will increase the amount of catalysts. Basic currency duplication won't count because Catalysts are league currency. Unique drop duplication might work!

It's a league starter, so exactly how much you want to put into it and how far you want to take it is up to you. We've made a full playlist of videos on how to take it from Twilight Strand to Ubers & T17's. The most expensive item in the build (by far) is Progenesis, and it's not mandatory. It's amazing, but the build worked fine & cleared T17's without it, it's just tankier now!

Nah ur griefing urself if u skip survival and stone circle. Their passives literally make them faster and easier. U rely on rng to always get protect altar and kill waves which no way will happen always. Talkin bout some 20d/hr when this mechanic heavily relies on a strong build that can finish 10 rounds ofc u can 20d/hr ur char is decked kekw. L guide
