This is great. I love strats that question 'known' ideas like we have to give up as little ground as possible.

It's always been a relatively senseless principle. A disc can cover 20m in seconds, you have 10 "seconds" to throw, and contact isn't allowed. Of course resetting the stall count and changing fields is worth more than "not going backwards" for any team with capable throwers!

Seems quite energy inefficient which can be quite a factor during long tournaments.
