Ultra Basketball 1994-95 & 1995-96

Here's a deep dive into Fleer Ultra in both 1994-95 and 1995-96. Now, I have to confess that I blew got the wrong statistics for the Hot Packs. To be fair, I was thinking of the football set ('though the odds are longer there), but for these sets they are 1:12 (1:24 for Scoring Kings) and 1:72 for the Hot Pack set (both).

Another great video professor!!! One thing you forgot to mention was that in 1995-96 Fleer used a 40% thicker card stock. I was a teenager when this set came out and had collected cards for nearly a decade up to that point. This was my first introduction to a thicker card and it felt very high end to me. It left me hoping that this would be the standard going forward for card manufacturers.

That's true, I did forget. There was a lot for me to remember in this video and the thickness just didn't seem that important to mention, although I think I did mention it in football. Flair and Playoff (football) were both much thicker, so this card seemed less impressive in that regard, but I think the only reason they did it was for the gold card embossing.
