Appreciate that! Definitely worth it in my opinion. Also have it paired with there Flo oil filter that helps reduce heat by itself and is reusable. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Talked with Ultra Cool and and they advised me to purchase the below regulator cooler. Not sure if that is the correct unit as I have a factory oil cooler and lowers just like you. Hope they clear this up for me.

First off, great video.... secondly a probably dumb question but here goes....once you have adapters on for the oil filtet does it just easily screw in and out?

Thanks for watching. First I’ll say there’s no such thing as a dumb question. The oil filter seems to screw on and off easy. Does that answer your question?

Dude! I moved to Vegas from Ohio, 4 months ago. Sitting here prepping to order this thing for my 2010 Road Glide. Pretty sure it's a necessity out here if you really want to ride... I love it here, just wish I had more time to ride! The freeways here are killing machines, I avoid them as much as possible. Ride safe!

Love it! When in Daytona I put the jumper that it came with in that continually keeps the fans running. A must have in my opinion for any motorcycle but especially for built motors. Thanks for watching!
@mattkeeler5111 Жыл бұрын
Great detail bro! I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these. Living in South Florida with a built 128, I'm like you in that I've had to shut my bike down a few times because of the heat. I have a thunder max oil cooler fan but it just isn't enough. Since you've installed the UC, how has the heat been? Do you notice a change?
@bigherk80 Жыл бұрын
Appreciate that. Yes I’ve noticed a change, and l’m very happy with the kit. Fans kick on as they should because I got stuck in traffic on different occasions since install and they kicked on both times. Haven’t put a temp gun to verify but again I’m happy with kit.
@wallywire7 ай бұрын
Just watched your install. How is ultra cool holding up? Did it drop oil temp 30 degrees like it said??
@bigherk807 ай бұрын
Love it and no complaints. Have a friend with dakota digital gauges with a readout for temp. We have same setup and while in Daytona with the jumper to keep the fans running temps hovered around 185-190. Thanks for watching and commenting!

You skipped the most critical step, actually trimming and cutting the fairing 😢 this is what I was watching for, to get any tips.
@bigherk807 ай бұрын
I used a jig saw with a regular blade. Taped it off where I was going to cut, cut it then test fitted. Had to trim a couple times to get where I wanted. Take your time, it’s better to not cut enough because you can always trim or cut again. Can’t put back after it’s gone if you cut too much the first time. Again take your time! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@MrDiasychain7 ай бұрын
@@bigherk80 thanks, I've completed mine now. I used the method shown by ultra cool (razor knife). The ambient air temp was around 92F, (i live on the equator) after riding an hour or so and then getting back into town traffic the led/fan kicked in. I installed a Flo filter as well so think that was helping keep it under the trigger temp.

Thanks for watching but it’s right side up, unless the directions is wrong they sent me.

@@bigherk80 Reason I say is because other installs I've seen, the plug wire is down and people run the wire to the bottom of the frame, and it makes routing the oil lines a straight shot instead of bending them to match up with the ports on the engine case. But what do I know.....LOL
@bigherk80 Жыл бұрын
@@easyglider1307I’ve seen them that way also but those didn’t have lower fairings, so maybe that’s the difference.
