Yeah, I can’t see them going backwards and telling the Moro and Granola arc as they are in the manga. People will be asking “Where’s Gohan and Piccolo?” and “Why aren’t they using their new forms?”. Maybe they’ll retell those arcs in a way that it takes Super Hero into account and find a way to have Gohan and Piccolo play more prominent roles in said arcs. But I can’t see them not incorporating Ultra Ego AT ALL, that’s easy money they’d be missing out on.

@@Omega-AlexGt it’s not that there’s a “point” but 100% expecting Toei to adapt something from the manga, when the super anime was never an adaption of the super manga to begin with should be done with a certain amount of hesitation. At no point was a reason for super to go on hiatus ever officially given, people only ASSUMED it was for a break - and when it was announced the manga would continue on past the tournament of power, and the anime produced the Broly movie, people started to wonder if it was for the manga to get so far ahead. Now, it absolutely COULD be the case - but that doubt should be met with a certain amount of incredulity given that we’ve had no reason to believe the manga hasn’t just continued to go in its own unique direction.

And with the mangas return I dot. Understand why they aren't starting it. Two arcs and they can put allot of filler in between but oh well they'll learn eventually.

Oh to be fair they’re not actually siblings - Caulifla has a brother; (in the anime he introduces Cabba to her) - but she refers to Kale as her “sworn sister/sis” which is effectively the same thing as having a best friend so close you consider them a brother/bro etc. It’s just a little more meaningful in Japanese culture than it is in the west where we throw the terminology around a lot more 😂

In this case Im thinking because Ultra Ego is tied to Vegeta's character development I think it'll end up reappearing later on. As for how the anime itself starts, they could blast open with Jaco the Galatic Patrol Man, Fused with The Broly Arc and a Super version of the Bardock special while foreshadowing the granola arc and then continue onto the Moro Arc the rest of Granola and a retelling of Super Hero from there.

I think at somepoint they will introduce Ultra Ego Vegeta, because it's just more money to print for Toei. 😆 My guess it will be introduce in the next movie against Frieza maybe since they have been building Frieza up these last two movie as a threat. Plus having Ultra Instinct Goku, Ultra Ego Vegeta, Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo, and Full-Power SSJ Broly going against Black Frieza and his group would be cool to see. 👍

Personally i disagree. I dont think they will skip over the arcs nor do i think they will change too much in the arcs. The reasoning is because the movies dont fully depict the arcs nor does they go into explicit details. The broly movie is not in the manga yet super hero is being adapted. If they wanted to which im sure they want to capitalize on they opportunity, they will go over everything in the anime to cash in on everything missing or anything they wanted to elaborate on. I do think it is worth noting that the Superhero movie does at least seem to have intentionally explained not including Ultra Ego by having Whis flat out stipulate that Vegeta and Goku aren't supposed to use any transformations during their sparing match, and thus leaving open the possibility of Ultra Ego showing up in a future movie or anime series under more dramatic circumstances. That said, we also saw that while Gou had been sparring with Broly, Vegeta was meditating and specifically mentioning a desire to learn to fight more efficiently. So it could be that that whenever we next see Vegeta in a major fight, he could have ostensibly left Ultra Ego behind and moved onto some new transformation/technique. This way the form might remain manga exclusive, but without the anime ever outright contradicting it.

Whatever criticisms people have of the manga, valid or otherwise, it’s still much better than the anime show. In my mind. Something which started as a promo for the anime, to me, became the cannon. Least of all because toriyama seems to have more to do with it, with the corrections and so on. That’s not saying much however, as I finally quit the manga.

I have a strong preference for anime-Z’s cell-art, which relied heavily on keyframes and, often, static images with minor animation, such as flapping hair, capes, mouth flaps, blinking, etc. Even in super’s best sequences, to me, the models come off rubbery and not-human. The models are often drawn simplified to allow for more “fluid” animation, and kept simplified in key frames for consistency, I assume. I’d prefer well-drawn still images with voice over narration than unaesthetic characters capable of fluid animation. And, if I were to provide a preference among Super’s animators, I strongly prefer Takahashi to Shintani.

@@mattcrompton5174 Im sorry that it sounds like I’m coming off as argumentative here 😂 (not my intent) I’m not entirely sure I agree; mainly because the last 2 movies weren’t adaptions of any manga - and the fact that Super’s anime itself was never an adaption of the Super Manga and it performed perfectly well in revitalising interest in the IP. It seems to be a common forgotten fact or just general misconception that Super’s manga and Super’s anime are adaptions of each other, because they’re both an interpretation of Toriyama’s draft notes. (not saying you fall into this category of people that are mistaken) just something to point out!
