"This one is not as fast" -- because the display was skipping many floors at a time due to the high and variable speeds, possibly local/express. A very intelligent display. Incredible acceleration and change in acceleration both up and down.

@@Photoelectric_Elevators The elevators are quite intelligent and determine where they can go to 'express' acceleration. The display skips floors to avoid distracting flicker.

I rode these a few years ago, these things are absolute ROCKETS!!! Both towers. But the fastest elevators in Vegas have to be at Strat (Stratosphere). They have 1800FPM Otis elevators.
