Narcissism is hardwired and you will never change a narcissist because most narcissists don't know they are one and those that do don't think they need to change.
@HGCUPCAKES Жыл бұрын
They can’t change because they don’t have empathy. Without empathy, they cannot identify the pain etc they have caused. Without empathy, the narcissist remains unchanged.

Speaking of wallets...when my son was a pre-teen he was recommended for a school program for high-risk youth. They asked him only one question: If you found a wallet with money in it, what would you do? My son's answer was: I'd keep the money and sell the wallet. He was immediately eligible for the program.

How is your son doing now? Is there narcissism/psychopathy in the family line?

I unwittingly triggered the 404 Response in my ex and it was FREAKY. We had been having a great time wilderness camping in the Salt River canyon in far east Phoenix. Camping was our thing & i LOVED it!! But we'd just got an apartment together and THAT'S when the BS started. But I didn't know he was one of Your Kind until later.... With the advent of this BS, I knew it was imperative that I share with him MY vision of MY future. Which included creating a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Making friends, sometimes hanging out with them. Healing, fun stuff ie: getting back into my music performance/doing open mics. I also let him know that sometimes, time away from each other is a good thing. Because he was soooo clingy once we moved in together! Eeww! I was NOT having that. But I shared. all this stuff with him in a VERY kind & gentle manner. I told him that we are VERY close & in love and ALSO, individuals at the same time. Sounds logical to me! I knew I needed to communicate this boundary because I could instantly see his behavior change to being toxic now that we lived together. I believe that was me drawing my line in the Sonoran Desert sand ❤️ O.M.G. As i spoke, he was doing random stuff around the tent and then he just stood straight up like a freaking robot!! I can't remember if he said anything but he kept moving robotically! I'd never seen anything like it. It was freaking me out so I pretended everything was normal. A bit later, back at home, I brought it up. The only thing he said was that he was embarrassed that he behaved that way. I totally thought this would score me some Super Empath points on your detector, but alas... not even any insignificant percentages 😞 lol. I'm a Standard Carrier.

What you wrote does not necessarily indicate a narcissist nor psychopath. And it is hard to really evaluate your real situation but from your writing it is more concerning your attitude and reactions than anything else. Then again, the writing was not clear enough and mentioned situations are not even fully described. Also, what exactly freaked you out? 'robotic' movements? It could be caused by stiff muscles and many other reasons. Of course a combination of the attitude and that might freak you out but it could be not worth even attention, for example, when I was little, my grandmother would remind me of a zombie when drunk- unstable movements, stretched out arms, pale, almost white eyes (her pale blue eyes would seem to turn almost white when drunk)... But I suppose it is normal, given the fact she was drunk.

Another fabulous interview HG Tudor! Well done. 👏🏻 Josh was a fantastic interviewer, he asked engaging questions and was really on the same wavelength of you. You guys bounced off of each other, perfectly. You gave precise answers that answered the questions, even for those that don’t understand narcissism, or never heard the truth about it, HG, you gave the information that could easily be understood and people needed to know. Brilliant interview! And holy shit! People say they want to be with you? Ffs! Do they not listen to what HG is saying about himself? Wow!! 🙈

The royal family is a fascinating topic full of historical and cultural nuances. By following the news and events that involve royalty, we can better understand the political and social dynamics of many countries and perceive how monarchy still plays an important role in some nations. However, it is important to remember that the lives of members of the royal family are not perfect and are also subject to personal challenges and problems, like any other person. It is necessary to balance the interest in glamour and pomp with a critical and conscious view of the implications of the existence of a monarchy in the 21st century

Listening to HG has made me realise my grandmother was not just a nasty piece of work, but probably a narcissist. She had cognitive empathy - until she didn't - as there was no advantage for her to act. Indeed in those instances, she would take great pleasure in manipulation and being cruel. E.g. if my pet died, if my mum was there she would comfort me, but once mum was gone she would taunt me for loving my pet and deliberately desecrate the body.

It is interesting to read what "Rose Madder" says about being HG's ex from college. She seems to know who he is, unless she is an imposter. She seems to have a lot of anger toward HG so maybe she did experience narcissistic psychopathy as his girlfriend.
