Imitation is is the sincerest form of flattery. That said, I'd spent more time learning to play as well as Tom rather than trying to clone his board. That said, you guys do amazing work and I think whoever gets this board will be happy. That's good stuff!

Can you please explain how you are powering the m9? There's a mixed bag of info on the internet. I have a Zuma but someone from Strymon actually told me you shouldn't use current/voltage doubler cables so I'm confused.
@xacttone2 ай бұрын
The slam dunk way is to use a CIOKS Crux. I can't say exactly whey Strymon doesn't approve of paralleling outputs, it may have to do with load balancing, or it may compromise their fault protection schemes. You could double ports to power an M9, it just takes several.

With (most) pedals being more obtainable than our heroes' guitars, I think a tribute board like this is cool. I've enjoyed figuring out a small pedalboard that suits my ears and needs, but if I could afford to replicate my heroes' boards just for fun, you better believe I would!

Can we get a ballpark total cost on a board like this. And please, no “if you have to ask…” comments. I’m just curious how much of a tax write off something like this is. 3k? 5k?
@darklight48155 ай бұрын
Just look up the price on the pedals...there all very common ,many can be substituted with cheaper clones too if you want...an EQ modded by Analog Man isnt necessary, standard EQ is more than fine for example...there's nothing unobtainable here

Probably 8k in pedals and power supplies and 800 - 1k to have them make cables / routing / labels / the board / mounting / interface.
