I must say, considering we're only on episode #4 the cinematics already feature some beautiful and rich sight lines. This is a whole set of expertly crafted additions and I'm loving every minute of it. Moomin, I continue to be amazed by your skill in this game. You and the other PlanCo KZbinrs I follow are a huge source of inspiration for "elevating my game" and making the effort to think more about the design and styling of my rides and buildings, and put in the time and effort to leverage game pieces in creative ways. What I especially liked about this log flume is that it **wasn't** super-complicated in its detail. As you said, it was primarily a handful of beams and planks, and a few custom support pieces and art shapes. Plus the typical TMTK clutter. I saw this video and thought, "This is something I could actually figure out how to replicate." Which is not something I normally come away with. How long does it typically take you to do the theming and everything for a single ride like the Golden Eagle or the log flume? Not the research or planning part, just actually getting all the pieces assembled and reaching what you consider "done".

Thanks for your kind words! It definitely varies from ride to ride but normally a couple of hours for a flat ride.

While my quality on the final product is still nowhere near yours, it's heartening to know that a couple hours for a flat ride is normal even for an experienced PlanCo player. It definitely makes the 9 or 10 hours I put into my very first hotel / restaurant combo building in the center of my current park seem less obsessive and more like a reasonable effort! 😄

Oh don't get me wrong, I could spend days on one build; nothing wrong with that. I generally play on medium/high settings. I start to get lag at the 50k piece count or earlier if there's plenty of TMTK.

if your fps ever gets bad you use cheat engine and set the speed hack to like .7 or .8 and its not unplayable at that speed and you get some frames back

I love your series, great inspiration! One question. How were you able to sink the log flume etc just 1 pixel into the gound and not minimum 0,25 meter? Same goes with the grid pieces (roofs e.g.) that I have seen you adjust very suddle. How do you do that? I can’t make it work on my computer…

You need to move the entire building/scenery group as a whole using advanced move, rather than the individual gridded pieces.
